Fong Yau Wai (Gordon Lam) and Chung Hon Ngau (Evergreen Mak) are very close friends. Shot in the format of a drama, it is the first documentary of its kind that explores a historical age in China more than 2,500 years ago. The documentary follows the heroic figures of the seven states Qi, Chu, Yan, Han, Zhao, Wei and Qin and retells the rise and fall of a nation through realistic depictions of the events from the demise of the Warring States Period until the unification under Qin rule.

At some point, Manato Irie (Hideaki Takizawa) began to withdraw himself from the world. Even when picked on, it's not the real Irie, but an act. However one day he meets a strange girl - Yui Misawa (Kyoko Fukada). Yui, who finds the tedium of everyday life unbearable, teases Manato with her almost too upfront and honest manner. Daichi Kitajima has become a firefighter as a consequence of his childhood experience of being rescued by a fire rescue team. Despite his trauma, he strives to be promoted to become a member of the Special Rescue Team. Beginning with Daichi, this story follows him and his fellow rescue team trainees as they grow as rescue workers, as people, and as men. While facing the indiscretions of youth, and internal conflicts, they encounter the many imbalances between the ideals and reality in lifesaving along the way.
