    Ailee (Dream High 2) and Eric Nam (After School Club) host the definitive Hallyu experience in the United States as KCON 2016 comes to New York City and Los Angeles. Watch as the biggest names in Korean entertainment come together for a series of live concerts in one of the biggest collaborations in K-Pop in the U.S. Adding to the star power are, amongst many others, Lee Min Ho (Boys Over Flowers), the iconic drama heartthrob whose international popularity simply refuses to stop growing, and GFRIEND, the sensational K-pop group whose meteoric rise since their 2015 debut netted them the Newcomers Award at the 25th Seoul Music Awards. KCON 2016 is the latest edition of KCON USA, the original convention for “all things Hallyu” in the United States. Beginning as a single-day event in 2012, growing international demand for Korean entertainment and a tremendously positive reception by attendants resulted in the convention expanding into a five-day extravaganza, with a three-day festival and two nights of concerts. The event is produced by CJ E&M; and MNET, and presented by Toyota. 2016 also sees the convention return to Japan and, for the first time ever, head over to the Middle East for KCON in Abu Dhabi. The New York edition of KCON was held on June 24 through 25 at the Prudential Center, while the Los Angeles edition is held from July 29 through July 31 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Staples Center. The full list of stars present at KCON N.Y. includes Mamamoo, Seventeen, Ailee, BTS, Day 6, BTOB, Eric Nam, Crush and Dynamic Duo, with special guests Im Si Wan and Park Bo Young. Artists present at KCON L.A. include Block B, GFRIEND, Twice, TTS, BTS, Astro, Dean, SHINee, I.O.I., MONSTA X, Eric Nam, and (f)Amber, with special guests Davichi, Turbo and Lee Min Ho.

    Also known as “Living With The Animals” (동물과 함께 사는 세상, Dong-mool-gwa Ham-gge Sa-neun Se-sang) Synopsis “Sorry, Thanks” is an omnibus film by four filmmakers who each contributed a short film about the relationships between humans and their pets. According to relevant groups, including Korea Animal Rights Advocates, there are about 10,000 pets in Korea, meaning that an average family of four has one, whether it is a dog, cat or an exotic animal such as an iguana. But pets are continuously being abandoned for diverse reasons. The film explores the causes and people behind the issue, which has grown increasingly serious of late.
