Ian is stuck in the past while trying to stop an alien prisoner from escaping a human body. After many obstacles, she finds a new weapon that can open a time door and saves Thunder. Meanwhile, Mu Reuk is confused by a strange presence inside him. Other characters, such as Heuk Seol, Cheong Woon, and Neung Pa, are also involved in the search for a divine sword. Ja Jang starts chasing Ian and Mu Reuk.
Many people are dying from an alien substance called Hava, and Min Gae In realizes this is just the beginning. With limited time left, Ian opens the time gate and returns to the present with Mu Reuk, Thunder, and two immortals. They must fight the aliens, stop Hava from exploding, and save the people.

This drama is based on Chinese novel “Bu Bu Jing Xin” by Tong Hua which was originally published online in 2005 on Jinjiang Original Network. The novel also adapted into the chinese television series “Scarlet Heart” which was aired in Hunan Broadcasting System (HBS) from 2011-Sep-10 to 2011-Sep-29 and also “Scarlet Heart 2” which was aired in Zhejiang STV (ZJTV) from 2014-Apr-22 to 2014-May-07.
This drama was fully pre-produced before airing which is a departure from the live-shoot production format that characterizes most Korean dramas. The Filming Began on 2016-Jan and Completed on 2016-June-30. The series will be simulcast in China.
When a total eclipse of the sun takes place, a 21st-century woman, Go Ha Jin, is transported back in time to the Goryeo Dynasty of Korea. She wakes up in the body of 16-year-old Hae Soo, an aristocrat living with Lady Hae, her cousin who happens to be married to one of the sons of King Taejo. She soon befriends several of the princes, who find her carefree and exuberant attitude refreshing. Although she knows she should not get involved in palace intrigues over the succession to the throne, she inadvertently becomes a pawn in the struggle, as several of the Princes fall in love with her.
