In this brooding martial arts series based on Ku Lung’s novel HEROES SHED NO TEARS, a friendship betweentwo swordsmen SZE MA and CHEUK turns into hatred as they both compete for the title of leader of the martialarts world. When Sze Ma is killed in an ambush, it is up to his admirer Ko and hisweapon, the Tearful Sword,to go against Cheuk, who has devised his own evil scheme to have Ko eliminated.

The story begins with the disappearance of a school bus and four high school girls. Still unsolved three years later, the case gets revived when one of the girls reappears. Odagiri plays a sharp national investigator searching for the truth behind the incident, which leads back to a seemingly peaceful town.

Seino, a manga artist, who lives in Tokyo realises belatedly one day that there are many towns which he has never known when he looks at the map. He goes on a journey to explore these places since he doesn't want to die without knowing about them.

Three organizations were in competition for a sword kept by Bu Liang Ren, a police agency loyal to the crown, that would unlock late Tang Dynasty's vast hidden treasure. The guardians of Li Xing Yu and Lu Lin Xuan were killed in one of the cross fires, but the kids were saved by Yang Shu Zi, the keeper of the sword, and taught to fight. One day, Yang Shu Zi disappeared and the kids went in search for him. Along the way, they were hunted by agents from the three organizations who intended to get hold of the sword through them.

When the fool ends up hanged at his house, Wong Tin Pak is blamed for his suicide by all the town's people. Everything seems like it is getting worse and worse until Sai Lun finds a simple ceramic pillow by accident. The pillow contains a helpful (but not too helpful) spirit who tries to help him solve the case. What happened to her and why is the Pillow Spirit walking around? Mystery 5 The Fugitive - Tin Pak has run off with Ming, and the Prince is not happy about this. Things go from bad to worse when Tin Pak is accused of killing Commander Pong. And why has the Pillow Spirit been acting even weirder than normal?
