Shek Chi Hong is now the number one "God of Gamblers" in the gambling world. He is a genius in gambling but prefers a quiet life. However, he can’t change his own destiny as long as he hasn’t retired from the gambling world.

Knowing that Hung Fung's gambling skills have improved tremendously over the years, Cheung Tin Jing resorts to inviting Chi Hong to help him. Chi Hong refuses to step into the gambling world again due to the promise to his wife. It is not until Cheung Tin Jing fakes a heart attack that Ah Kong decides to help him finally. Fukumaru Daikichi, the owner of Fukumaru Inn is played by Nishida Toshiyuki. The inn has been in business for over 60 years, and Daikichi is its third owner. Known as “nosy Dai-san” from people of Asakusa, Daikichi pries into the affairs of others and ends up making matters worse. As social conditions change, his inn business faces difficult situation, but he cannot help but stop being nosy. In each episode, various guest actors/actresses appear to take the key role sometimes as a guest to the inn or as a someone Daikichi meets in the neighborhood area. Exchanges between guest actors/actresses and Dakichi will definitely make the viewers cry and laugh in all episodes.

Koiwa Mimiko manages a small bakery that has been in her family for generations, but struggles doing it all on her own. Kita Kaoru, who is 6 years younger than Mimiko, begins working at the bakery part time. He used to be a chef at a Michelin star restaurant, but doesn't speak about his past. Despite his secrets, Kaoru becomes an indispensable presence in Minako's bakery and life.
