Due to inadequate use of anesthetics, a young boy experiences "intra-operative awareness" during his own heart surgery, hearing every sound and movement of the procedure. From the scalpel slicing through his body and surgical saw cutting through his rib cage, he remains completely aware! Unable to respond from the muscle-relaxation used during his surgery, the little boy is severely traumatized from this horrific accident. As a result, the child ends up brutally murdering a young girl soon after the incident. The boy is placed in a mental institution. Several psychiatrists find interest in his case, and decide to utilize radical treatment methods in order to cure the child. Through the use of hypnotism, they succeed in sealing the part of the boy's memory, his past and the personality that spawned from it. With this success, the boy is given a second chance and is placed to lead a normal life in society. 20 years later, the man's childhood is once again unlocked from a series of events, and leads to a series of gruesome murders. On a mission to spread the same pain he suffered as a child, the killer becomes cruel yet clever. As the killing continues, each of the memories and the secrets that lie 20 years in the past are slowly revealed.

Eun Hee is hired as a vice principal at her old high school, where strange things take place in the closed down washroom. High school student Ha Young and So Yeon, who used the washroom as their hideout hear humming in the empty washroom, and believe that a ghost exists inside. Ha Young discovers a flowerpot on the stairs and suspects that Eun Hee is somehow linked to the mystery. Suffering from hallucination upon her inauguration, Eun Hee finds a ghastly figured girl in the washroom mirror and begins to believe that the girl was the one who brought her back to this school.

When his mother learns about his new girlfriend Yeon-A, she pushes her son to get married to his finance. Even after he marries his finance, Young-Hoon continues his relationship with Yeon-A. When Young-Hoon’s wife gets pregnant, Yeon-A starts to feel insecure about their relationship and takes matter into her own hands. She decides to call Young-Hoon’s wife and tell her everything about their relationship.

A woman arrives at Seol Won hospital by car with her sister stabbed and unconscious. From the shocking accident, she can’t even speak properly. Police officer Hyun Ju arrives at the hospital and recalls herself while watching Do Kyung, who refuses to be treated to take care of her sister. Hyun Ju, who does the given tasks indifferently like a machine, investigates the case actively out of compassion for Do Kyung. However, the case becomes a mystery when it is revealed that the woman in the hospital is not Do Kyung’s real sister, and the actual sister was a nurse who worked at the hospital in the past, and the person who will be Do Kyung’s brother-in-law was also on the scene.
