Kirishima is the most famous baseball player in Japan. However, an unfortunate injury forces him to retire. His family abandons him, and all that's left is a vacant coaching position at a local baseball team for young boys. This club is on the verge of being disbanded, and, so far, they have never won a single game. Will Kirishima be able to help the club? Through the television screen, popular baseball player Kirishima tells the kids, "dreams come true." His baseball techniques are so fantastic that he is called the "miracle man." But in reality, Kirishima is an arrogant and selfish flirt who spends money like there's no tomorrow. Mizuki is a girl who wants to become a lawyer. Her brother plays on Kirishima's team but can't stand the sight of Kirishima. She hates men who fool around, and especially those who deceive children. Will Mizuki and Kirishima be able to come to a mutual understanding?

    Dong-Joo (Lee Dong-Geon) and Ki-Tae (Seong-su Kim) are both abandoned by parents and brought up in an orphanage as best friends. The friendship of the 3 people starts as Ji-Soo (Kim Ha-Neul) is transferred to Dong-Joo’s and Ki-Tae’s school. Ji-Soo envies the strong friendship between Dong-Joo and Ki-Tae, but starts to grow special feelings towards Dong-ju. One day Dong-ju jumps into the water to find Ji-Soo’s ocarina and he becomes missing since. Ji-Soo and Ki-Tae believes that he is dead. Meanwhile, a Japanese couple discovers Dong-Ju, and takes him back to Japan with them. Ki-Tae naturally takes over Dong-Joo’s place and he and Ji-Soo become lovers. However after twelve years, Dong-Joo comes back as a Japanese gentleman and he manages to find Ki-Tae and Ji-Soo. He is first happy to find his past memories, but as his feelings for Ji-Soo comes back, the friendship between Dong-Joo and Ki-Tae starts to drift apart.

    The Blood Sword 2 is a Hong Kong television series adapted from the wuxia manhua series Chinese Hero: Tales of the Blood Sword by Ma Wing-shing. The series was produced by ATV and first aired in September 1991. The series is a prequel to The Blood Sword (1990). Ying Hung misses his China hometown and brings his family back. In the midst of returning, he is being ambushed by Sa Dan’s men. His wife and daughter are dead. He gets so mad that he leaves his son, Kiem Hung with his servants to return to America to seek his revenge. He is successful with the help of Lo Hon, Kuai Pu and Kiem Shing. He kills Sa Dan and retreats into Chung Wah Place. 15 years later, Kiem Hung comes to America to look for Ying Hung. Because of his reckless nature, Ying Hung is forced to offend 5 colours Sect’s leader, Yin Yeung Messenger. Yuen Mou comes too and befriends Hon and Ying Hung. The three join forces to break Liet Yeung trap to save a mysterious woman, Mok Chi. The Black Dragon Clan wants the Chinese society to break up so they get the Japanese samurai, Mou Dik to kill the innocent Chinese. It also forces many to become mine labourers. Ying Hung is forced to break the stone lion to retrieve his blood sword to make a comeback. Ying Hung challenges Mok Dik to a duel but also combines forces with Mou and Hon to attack the iron bull valley. Unfortunately, Hon dies in the process but his heroic act moves all Chinese. They decide to set up the Chinese Society. They vow to pit against Black Dragon Clan and choose Mou to be their chairman. The Japanese sect, Lo Sau Clan is awaiting for a chance to reap the benefits when the two clans clash. They choose a representative – Chin Mien to cause chaos in the Chinese Society. Kiem Hung is repeatedly harassed by Devil Sect’s messenger to fulfill the wish of their dead leader to take over his position. This harassing only stops when their white snake messenger dies mysteriously. Ying Hung has a chance to spar with Black Dragon Sect’s Ming Sat. He learns that he is under the lone star and is destined to be alone. True enough, it does affect the later part of his life. There are disputes within Lo Sau Clan and Ying Hung is dragged into it. He spars with Tai Bo at the Dragon Chamber. He later rushes to save Kuai Pu and others from Black Dragon Clan. Mou Dik helps him to defeat the Commander from Black Dragon Clan. He also helps to set up a treaty so that both clans will not probe into each other’s issues. The date of the duel gets closer so Ying Hung goes into retreat. He works too hard till his hair grows white overnight. The worst thing happens – he overexerts his inner strength till he faints on the day of the duel. Mou Dik mistakens that he misses the duel without a valid reason. Thus he starts killing every Chinese he sees in Chinatown. Ying Hung returns on time and both have a duel on the statue of liberty. Ying Hung turns totally ruthless in his attacks while Mok Dik still saves him on the nick of time to lose to him. All can’t believe their eyes when Mou Dik kills his own son and later duels with Ying Hung again. Ying Hung loses this time and falls into the sea. Mou Dik feels lonely without a match and thus kills himself. Actually, Ying Hung isn’t dead. He only fakes his own death, recalling what Ming Sat has told him. He is afraid of implicating his friends and relatives after so many unpleasant deaths. Thus he decides to create another form of life for himself by leaving them.

    High-flier Mak Tai Song (Dayo Wong Tze Wah) has dissociated himself from the business world by showing deep regret to the suicide of his mentor. Later, he learns that his mentor's wife She Mo Lin (Theresa Lee) is in great debt and he starts selling "business tactics" to the trader Tong Kat (Benz Hui Shiu Hung) for Lin's debt recovery. Deadbeat Song refuses to take a full time job and that makes his income change from day to day. A tough collection agent, Lam Miu Miu (Charmaine Sheh), tries every means to push him into a corner. They keep playing tricks on each other and finally become a pair of rival lovers. By chance, Song meets his uterine brother On Cho Lin (Michael Tse Tin Wah). He thereby recalls the tragic memories of the past when his mother deserted him and his father. This triggers the hatred hidden deep inside his heart and leads him to seek revenge against On's family. Song's abrupt change has left Miu feeling confused.

    Yagyu Sekishusai is a consumate swordsman teaching the Yagyu Shinkage style of fencing from his family dojo. His ambition has always been to achieve fame for the Yagyu clan. His son Munenori hangs around with the local ninja children and frequently avoids practice to do so. As a result, the father considers the son to be weak and is harsh and disparaging both in training and personal life. After Munenori's older brother is injured during the Battle of Sekigahara, Sekishusai decides to name his grandson Hyogonosuke as his successor as head of the Yagyu Shinkage school, considering Munenori to be unworthy of the position. Munenori witnesses his 'mutodori' technique of unarmed combat against a weapon-bearing opponent & then sets out to develop his own style based not on the desire to kill but to defend one's self. He becomes a master in his own right while forming a strong alliance with the Tokugawa who ascend to take power in the land. Munenori becomes a highly-placed key vassal for the Tokugawa, initially as sword instructor & then as Minister of Justice. He also helps to institute the draconian policies of suppression designed to quell any opposition to Tokugawa rule thereby bringing peace to the nation. This viewpoint is not appreciated by his son Yagyu Jubei Mitsuyoshi who is opposed to what he sees as underhanded tactics, regardless of their eventual results 'for the greater good'. Father and son must put aside their differences in order to confront a plot that could de-stabilise the country.
