TV writer Ji-ho has been secretly in love with the same man for 10 years. After a night of binge-drinking, she wakes up to face the worst day of her life. She wakes up to find out she got fired for low viewer ratings. Her bag gets snatched on the way home and while pursuing the snatcher, she gets hit by a car. But the chain of unfortunate events turned out to be God-sent present. The man who hit her with the car turns out to be the very man she's been in love with all these years. After bumping her head on the car, she pretends that she doesn't remember anything and Min-woo is left with no choice but to bring her back home with him. Ji-ho's childhood friend Dong-sik is worried as Ji-ho doesn't come home for two days. He goes out on search and miraculously finds her and brings back her home. After learning that Ji-ho is suffering from amnesia after the accident, Dong-sik is determined to help her get her memories back.

Oda Nobunaga pursues the unification of the entire country and fights against rivals on multiple fronts, including the Mori, Takeda, and Uesugi clans. In the midst of these battles, Nobunaga’s own vassal, Araki Murashige, stages a rebellion against him and then disappears. Earth is a high school boy who working on a path that is chaotic and confusing and so silently holds grievances in his heart. Plastic surgery, murder, intimidation… Uchibori Miwa, the president of cosmetic company Nympha Miwa, frequently gets coverage in the media due partly to her good looks. However, she finds a posting online that reads, “I know the real Uchibori Miwa” and feels shaken. Miwa looks like a successful person, but has a hidden past that was sealed off. She had once worked as a cleaner of the cosmetic surgery department and always wore a mask because she felt insecure about her own face. Her true face happens to be seen by the doctor Akizuki Yoshihiko, but when he wants to try a new surgical procedure, she undergoes cosmetic surgery for free. The surgery is a success and Miwa, who has obtained a beautiful face like a new person, soon gets married to Akizuki. However, happiness is short-lived. Akizuki had been kind so far, but his attitude suddenly changes. Miwa is forced to live without freedom. Meanwhile, Machida Takeharu, who goes in and out of the Akizuki household as a landscape gardener, encounters Miwa standing around alone in the garden. Having seen with his own eyes how Miwa is subjected to cruel treatment such as Akizuki’s violence, Machida instinctively invites her to his house and the two of them become romantically involved. One day, Miwa angers Akizuki because of something trivial and is severely assaulted. Then Machida arrives. She instructs him to kill her husband and the 50 million yen in the safe will be his. But Akizuki is standing behind them with a gold club. A scuffle breaks out, and the two of them end up murdering Akizuki. Miwa gives Machida money in order to cover up the murder, and tells him not to meet her ever again. Eight years go by. Miwa looks at the posting on the internet as she recalls Machida who probably hates her and her face goes stiff. At that same moment, Machida is staring at a poster of Miwa’s lecture in a town of Fukuoka Prefecture. Then Miwa meets Takeoka Yoshiko, a former investigator who says she is her fan. Hearing Yoshiko’s story about losing her job after the company went bankrupt, Miwa invites her to work in her own company. But in an unexpected turn of events, Miwa subsequently asks Yoshiko to do a background check on Machida.

In Jakarta, 17-year-old Ali watches his dying father, Hasan, die of cardiac arrest. His mother, Mia, left them when he was five for New York City. He flies there to meet her, though his helicopter aunt Suci asks him to go home after two weeks. Ali goes to the apartment at Queens where his mother stayed at, and meets her friend Party, who works as a cleaning lady. She shares the same apartment with bonek-turned-paparazzi Biyah, helicopter single mom Ance, and massage lady Chinta. Compensated with money, they pledge to help him search for Mia. Meanwhile they also guide Ali through New York, and he also has a crush on Ance's Indonesian-American daughter Eva.

Through a friend, Biyah learns that Mia lives at a house in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Ali goes there bringing a box of rendang, but Mia, shocked, immediately slams the door. Ali also learns that his mom has a new husband, Alex, as well as a son and daughter. The next day, Ali re-attempts, and he tells her of his father's death. Mia expresses condolences, and shares him her phone number, making an appointment at a cafe. From there they enjoy times together, but ends in awry as Ali asks his mom to recognize him in her new family; she says this could end the household. She also reveals that Hasan never understands her, prohibiting Ali from flying to New York with the ticket she purchased.

The more Ali meets Mia, the more she feels guilty, exacerbated by Biyah, Ance, and Chinta's passive-aggressiveness towards her. She decides to hand Party a US$20,000 check directed towards Ali. Ali feels betrayed by the Party, Biyah, Ance, and Chinta, assuming they just want his money, and leaves the apartment. Meeting his mom, he reluctantly asks her to disown her. She tearfully responds, "Just hate me. Just hate me! Go!" and Ali obliges. He meets Eva and asks for a hug; Eva does and asks Ali to return to the apartment. As morning comes, Ali shows Party, Biyah, Ance, and Chinta a video he edited expressing apology and positivity, and they reconcile. Ending the film, he is then accepted to a university, and Mia privately confesses regarding Ali to Alex.

In a mid-credits scene, Suci asks Ali's cousin to fly to New York to meet him, which he does.

His child gets kidnapped, and in order to unpack the facts he’s buried in his memory, he has to get the help of someone who can send him back into his dreams while half-awake. They race against the clock while poking around in his dreams for clues about the crime, which he collects in bits and pieces.

For the uninitiated, the prequel, GoW, ended with the death of Sardar Khan (Manoj Bajpayee), leaving his sons to avenge his death. Yeon Joo, who is judging short films at a film festival, is embarrassed when she sees Seon Min's film based on the same story as her screenplay. She calls Seon Min and tries to find out the whole story, but Seon Min's explanation was that she just wrote what she experienced and Yeon Joo's stance that she cannot believe it only made the situation tense. In order to reveal what happened to Seon Min, the two head to Gyeongju to meet the visually impaired couple who appeared in the movie. There, you will watch the reading play written by a visually impaired person. As their second destination, they head to Woljeongsa Temple on Odaesan Mountain in Gangneung, which appears in the background of Seon Min's movie. After meeting the monk, both Yeon Joo and Seon Min learn that they have a connection to the monk, but their misunderstanding is not easily resolved. The two break up, and Yeon Joo visits Director Kim, the male protagonist in the movie.
