Kamolchanok is the only son of a wealthy hotel owner. He's handsome, carefree and cheerful, and cares very little about his appearance. When he meets his best friend's sister, Thongtra, he falls in love. Through twists and turns he disguises himself as an impoverished man looking for a job. Coincidentally Thongtra's family is looking for a gourmet chef and therefore hires Kamolchanok as their "por krua". Little does she know that this homeless man is the same man who bullied and teased her when they were youngsters.

Set in a small restaurant in the corner of a shopping district. The unusual eatery is only open after midnight, and its standard menu consists of just a single choice. However, the customers still come for the amusing chatter and the proprietor's willingness to cook any dish that they request. This drama depicts the lives of the restaurant's patrons, including a yakuza, an unsuccessful actor, a group of office ladies, a newspaper delivery boy, and a stripper.

The series follows the life of Ying Zheng, the ruler of the Qin state in the Warring States period, who eventually unified China, established the Qin dynasty, and became the First Emperor of a unified China. The series also includes a subplot about Jing Ke, an assassin who attempted to take the emperor's life.

Another female servant, Sajal, who works there, falls in love with him, but he rejects her. Farhad doesn’t mention his intention with his close friend that he becomes with while staying there. Mahi is getting married to another Rich person and Farhad can not bear the news. He tries to talk with her, but Mahi continuously rejects him. He isn't able to take the rejection. According to Farhaad, he can reject others, but a girl can't reject him. Although Mahi has already rejected him, he continues to disturb Mahi and make her guilty for not reciprocating his love. Mahi starts to think about him due to her guilt. Farhad is getting ready to leave the place after Mahi tries to break his heart by telling him that she needs a rich guy when infact she wanted to save his life from her family out of humanity. Turns out Farhad fell under the train and is now dead. The news have been broken to the family. But little do they know while they are getting ready for Mahi’s wedding Mahi faints to the news. Mahi’s nikkah and ruksathi take place but during the wedding procession, Taimoor is shot on the way to Multan and dies. Mahi is eventually persuaded to marry Taimoor's elder brother, Sikandar. This is the start of Farhad's curse and Mahi will now lead a life of trials and tribulations.
