Onizuka Ichiro has been confined to a wheelchair ever since he was stabbed by a criminal and lost the function of his two legs. Mahi’s nikkah and ruksathi take place but during the wedding procession, Taimoor is shot on the way to Multan and dies. Mahi is eventually persuaded to marry Taimoor's elder brother, Sikandar. This is the start of Farhad's curse and Mahi will now lead a life of trials and tribulations.
