Shokudo Megumi is an oden restaurant run by Megumi, a popular former fortune teller who lost her powers. Now she still helps her regular customers in other ways, by advising them through their various troubles in their marriages. In this way, the customers of Shokudo Megumi will find happiness.

Hajime (Ryuji Sato) and Ryo (Toshiyuki Someya) are brothers. They hoped to perform at the Budokan one day, but, after their mother died, they went their separate ways.

Years later, the 5 member band Daidarabotchi decides to do a live performance. The group was formed by Hajime. A week before their live performance, their vocalist suddenly quits. Hajime, who plays the guitar, takes over on vocals. He aims to perform at Budokan and hoping to be recognized by his older brother Ryo.

Si Ning, in an unknown way, finds herself in a script she wrote for a writing contest. The last thing she remembers, is that she wanted to make final touches to it, including cutting out the romantic plot, because she didn't know how to lead it, because she had never been in love herself. Now, trapped in her own work, the girl not only has to find herself in the realities of the Republican Era, but also she meets characters who are a reflection of those from her real life.

One of them is Xiao Mo Ya, who forced her to change the script and who in the new version of it, becomes the object of her affection.
