Three years ago, Xia Qian was suddenly abandoned by her fiance, He Zhijuan during her engagement party. Feeling down, she clashes with the boss of Chang Sheng hotel, Sheng Zhening. During their argument, Xia Qian realizes her strong observational and analytical skills, and decides to set on the path to become a haggler. After Xia Qian set up her own company, she often has business dealings with Sheng Zhening. During their interactions, Sheng Zhening grow to admire Xia Qian as a worthy opponent. Xia Qian's opinion toward Sheng Zhening also changes, and her company also started to grow bigger with Sheng Zhening's help. At this time, Sheng Zhening fell into the trap set by his fellow business partners, and was evicted out of Chang Sheng Hotel. He Zhijuan also reappears in Xia Qian's life, and his new fiancee turns out to be Sheng Zhening's younger sister. Xia Qian and Sheng Zhening encouraged and helped each other through their problems in both realtionship and work. Eventually, Xia Qian helps Sheng Zhening take back his hotel, and Xia Qian also decides to forgive He Zhijuan.

The drama follows the lives of seven boys navigating their school years and personal growth, each grappling with family obligations, loss, poverty, abandonment, violence, and rejection.

After an unwanted return to Songju-si, Kim Hwan meets six boys. As an outsider and the son of Kim Chang Jun, the boys sometimes find him suspicious and misunderstand his actions, leading to conflicts. Despite these initial difficulties, they eventually become friends. It seemed awkward at first, but over time, they grow closer and open their hearts. They travel and play together, sharing their problems to help each other heal. Realizing they all have similar family issues, they become even closer. Hwan confronts his own feelings by staying with the other boys. As he spends time with them, he starts to like Songju-si and genuinely wishes for these days to continue forever.

However, Chang Jun notices the other boys and considers them useless, insisting that Hwan stay away from them. Hwan, who has always lived an obedient life, raises his voice for the first time and confronts his emotions.

Kang Ah Reum now works as a wedding dress designer. She met Derek Hyun after her divorce and they eventually married. Her current husband works as a diplomatic official and seems gentle and warm. His secret is that he is actually a cold-blooded industrial spy. Derek Hyun treats his wife sweetly, but, for his job as an industrial spy, he will do anything. He loves Kang Ah Reum sincerely, but he also hides his true self from her.

Morino Hotaru is a second year high school student who has had an unrequited crush on Otaka Ren since junior high school. One day, while on a school trip with Ren and her good friend Yamamoto Shiori, their bus gets into an accident. When Hotaru wakes up, a young man who is dressed fully in black appears in front of her. He is Kuro, a grim reaper. A shocked Hotaru shoves him away but he has shocking words for her, “I’m your guide. Morino Hotaru, listen carefully. You’re dead.” Hotaru learns that if she does not get over her attachment to three things within 49 days, she will end up becoming a ghost bound to a specific physical location and cannot rest in peace. She had slept for one month after the accident and has only 19 days left. And so, Hotaru sets out to settle the three lingering regrets with the limited time she has, in the company of Kuro. One of them is to confess her feelings to Ren, her crush of five years. However, when he is in front of her, she finds it impossible to tell him how she feels. The new season begins with a special case that leads the duo to the Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong. It’s the first time for ‘Aibou’ to expand its setting to a foreign location since they went to London in the second season. Mizutani commented that it perfectly suits inspector Sugishita Ukyo, since Hong Kong used to be a British colony and Ukyo is interested in everything British. His new partner is called ‘Kai Toru’. He’s played by Narimiya Hiroki and is going to breath new life into the series. More details about him can be found here and here, but we will have to wait until the first episode to find out how they end up as partners.

Srikanda, Phawinee's sister, is a beautiful woman whose father is very proud of her. She fell in love with Nopphanai and despite her father's disapproval, they decided to elope. One day, Phawinee meets Srikanda by chance and notices how she looks thinner and depressed. She eventually gets ill and passes away.

Phawinee is angry after finding out how her sister was bullied by her mother and sister-in-law, so she decides to sign a marriage certificate with Nopphanai with a deal of "no touch", in order to take care of her nephew. Afterward, Phawinee moves in where her sister lived and starts to fight with his mother and sister. She doesn't give in to them as her sister had, and so her revenge begins.
