The Blind Swordsman returns for the final time in his ground-breaking television series. As exciting and well made as many of his films, Zatoichi’s travels around the nation are chronicled as he finds himself embroiled in the lives of those who desperately need his help. Katsu Shintaro is brilliant in his signature character while maintaining the highest standards of film making.

Students at an agricultural university are supposed to be the future farmers or at least to do something related to agriculture, but it’s not like that in reality anymore. But still they have to get enough credits to graduate, so here they are, 6 students coming from Tokyo to Hokkaido to take a 3-month training course. Takashi (Tetsuji Tamayama) is the most reluctant student who is actually from the farm they are at. Tohei (Keisuke Koide), Ryota (Atsuhiko Nakata), Ayaka (Saki Aibu), Mihoko (Karina), and Kazumi (Erika Toda) have their own problems. As they face the severe situation of the dairy farmers and go through tough experience, they gradually start appreciating the value of life and finding themselves. This ensemble dramedy follows the course how those young rather spoiled kids become fully grown-ups eventually.

The show focuses on high schools that hold yo-yo contests. The schools organize teams and participate in competitions to win against other schools. Each team has their own issues that they solve, and each yo-yo has a name that reflects the toy's design. The show makes use of minor special effects in order to portray the "magic" and the speed of the yo-yo. These magic spells are 'battling' and the person whose magic remains wins. Some of the yo-yo tricks are common, like the Forward Pass, Loop-the-Loop, Three-Leaf-Clover, Trapeze, Double or Nothing, Gravity Pull, etc. The show also has some tricks of its own created by the producers (most of the tricks are for professionals) like the White Buddha, Buddha's Revenge and the Cold Fusion (hardest trick of Season One).

Based on a manga with the same name created by Aida Natsumi, 'Switch Girl!!' revolves around a high school student named Nika (Nishiuchi) who appears to be a stylish and fashionable girl at school, but that's really a fake persona that she uses when she's in public. At home, she “switches off” the facade and her returns to her true slovenly nature. Kiriyama Renn plays the good-looking transfer student Arata, who is Nika's love interest in the story.

Attorney Komikado Kensuke (Sakai Masato) loves money, prestige & women, but also has a 100% winning rate when it comes to his legal cases. Mayuzumi Machiko (Aragaki Yui) is a rookie attorney who holds a strong sense of justice & passionate about protecting the weak. She is also awkward and rigid in her work. One day, due to unforeseen circumstances, Mayuzumi Machiko begins to work at Komikado Kensuke's law office. The two attorneys constantly clash, but in the courtroom they cooperate to fight as one.

Chu Liu Xiang is a highly skilled martial artist who steals from the rich to help the poor. ~~ Adapted from Chu Liu Xiang Chuanqi of Gu Long's Chu Liu Xiang novel series.

This drama pits two protagonists against each other. On the one hand there's Makoto, a woman who believes that the TV program is a product and that viewer ratings are the proceeds, and who believes any method is fair in getting those ratings. On the other hand there's Hiromi, a flashy sort of guy who claims that life is to enjoy and boasts that the program is simply a tool in that process. He loves wine, women and gambling. Such a pair is bound to mix like oil and water, but following a fateful reunion, they come to understand each other in the midst of confrontation.
