It's a period drama centered around WWII era.

Napa, the lady master and wife of Lieutenant General Kittibodin of Thai Air Force, found herself miscarried while her husband was abroad. At the time Lampao, her housemaid was found pregnant with twin boys, so Napa asked to adopt one of the boys. Lampao agreed because a fortune teller predicted the twins would kill each other if they stayed together. The older one, Sasin was given to Napa and Lampao later moved out of the house to work in the rural area far away with her another son Ravit.

22 years later, the boys by chance studied in the same Air Force Academy and became buddies without knowing they are twins. Their relationship turned to be a race after they fall in love with the same woman, Arpaluck. Sasin, the rich and powerful boy, almost killed Ravit. With rage, Ravit turned his back on the Air Force and joined the communist team instead to get revenge. Eventually fate brought them to unexpected happenings where each had to make choices for himself or for his true blood and love.

Watanabe Shogoro (Higashiyama Noriyuki) is a lazy constable at the Honmachi Magistrate’s Office and avoids troublesome tasks. But once there is a “job”, he demonstrates cool-headedness in cutting down villains with his sword. Shogoro has always been unable to hold his head high as a son-in-law adopted into the family. One day, he has a rare display of anger and gets into a quarrel with his wife Fuku (Nakagoshi Noriko). Fuku leaves home. Coincidentally, a chief priest and wives who have run away from their husbands and sought refuge at the temple are slain. Fearing that Fuku is one of them, Shogoro hurries to the temple. At the same time, a husband and wife pair of assassins Kawaraya no Jinpachiro (Endo Kenichi) and Nakibokuro no Omiya (Yamamoto Mizuki) arrive in Edo. Shogoro happens to encounter them at the corner of a street. Okiku (Wakui Emi), who knows Jinpachiro and Omiya, warns Shogoro that he must not have anything to do with them. However, Jinpachiro, a carouser and gambler, ends up meeting the picture framer Ryoji (Matsuoka Masahiro) at a gambling den in the red light district. Despite the things they share in common, Ryoji cannot hide his disgust at Jinpachiro’s way of life. At that point, a man who seems to be the criminal in the temple massacre is found to have committed suicide. Although Shogoro senses a conspiracy behind the case, the jurisdiction for the temple lies with the magistrate for temples and shrines, and Shogoro’s superior Masumura Rintaro (Namase Katsuhisa) is too timid to investigate further. The priest Enten (Takenaka Naoto) takes up the position of chief priest with the blessings of the magistrate for temples and shrines Edajima Kaneyoshi (Nakamaru Shinsho) shortly after that. Ryu (Chinen Yuri) who had originally experienced religious training as the heir of a temple, feels something is wrong with the new state of affairs at the temple which has started accepting females as if nothing has happened. On this day, Oichi (Tanaka Minako) brings her daughters Misato (Miyatake Mio) and Yui (Miyatake Matsuri) to the temple to seek shelter from her husband’s violence. However, behind the scenes at the temple is a conspiracy to take advantage of the vulnerabilities of females and exploit them.

Srikanda, Phawinee's sister, is a beautiful woman whose father is very proud of her. She fell in love with Nopphanai and despite her father's disapproval, they decided to elope. One day, Phawinee meets Srikanda by chance and notices how she looks thinner and depressed. She eventually gets ill and passes away.

Phawinee is angry after finding out how her sister was bullied by her mother and sister-in-law, so she decides to sign a marriage certificate with Nopphanai with a deal of "no touch", in order to take care of her nephew. Afterward, Phawinee moves in where her sister lived and starts to fight with his mother and sister. She doesn't give in to them as her sister had, and so her revenge begins.

“Extraordinary Rumor” is based on a webtoon of the same name and tells the story of demon hunters called Counters who come to earth under the guise of being employees at a noodle restaurant in order to capture evil spirits that have returned to earth in pursuit of eternal life.

So Moon is the youngest of the Counters. After suffering from a mysterious car accident as a child, he eventually becomes a central figure among the Counters.

Do Ha Na has the ability to sense the locations of evil spirits, even those that are hundreds of kilometers away. She can also read memories of others through touch and works with So Moon to do away with evil spirits.

Ga Mo Tak is a Counter with incredible strength. He’s a former police officer who lost his memory seven years ago after an accident and is unable to stand idle in the face of injustice. Ga Mo Tak is also So Moon’s mentor.

Chu Mae Ok is a Counter with healing abilities. Outwardly, she’s the chef of the noodle restaurant, but among the Counters, she is the emotional pillar of the group.

Choi Jang Mool is the oldest Counter. He’s in charge of all of the Counters’ expenses, and he is a living legend among the Counters in Korea.

Right before summer vacation, Moyuru makes a decision. He decides to take his manga manuscripts to a publishing company in Tokyo.
