First-year students draw lots to determine their peer mentors and, by a stroke of fate, Arm lands himself in the exclusive circle of "Perfect 10 Liners," a group comprising extraordinary students from various years, with Yipun as his second-year peer mentor. Yipun entrusts him with the formidable task of managing the Engineer Cute Boy page, a widely popular online platform. Despite his reluctance, Arm performs admirably as the page's administrator. In response to many fan requests, he uploads a photo of third-year civil engineering student Arc, unaware of the prohibition against doing so. Not knowing the admin's identity, Arc sends a harsh message demanding the photo's deletion. Detesting Arc's rudeness, he develops a dislike for Arc before learning that Arc is his third-year mentor. Despite his reservations, Arm finds himself interacting with Arc with some frequency, for mentorship and otherwise. What Arm doesn't know is that he's been let into Arc's inner circle because Arc was smitten with him at first sight. On his first day of university, disaster strikes Gun hard. Hapless as he is, Gun manages to break a bathroom faucet. Fortunately, a classmate comes to his rescue. Amidst the chaos, however, Gun doesn't get a look at his saviour's face, just catching a glimpse of their shoes. Eventually, he tracks the shoes to Faifa and expresses his gratitude. As they get to know each other, Gun realises it was actually Yotha, Faifa's older Irish twin who he should be thanking.

The “Death Investigation Extension (D.I.E.)” in the police force was established to accommodate those who have been sent away by their supervisors. As everybody knows, members of the Extension are to investigate unsolved cold cases. YUE CHI-LONG (Roger Kwok), who has cracked a large number of difficult cases by extrasensory means, is assigned to the D.I.E. believing that he will get promoted soon. Later LONG finds out that his supervisor still has a long way to go before he reaches retirement age. Hoping to leave the Extension as soon as possible, he gets to solve a lot of intriguing cases. New appointee YING CHING-CHING (Sonija Kwok) is a good-looking girl but she means to act tough and sassy in front of others. She takes an uncompromising stand over every case she deals with, which leads her into constant quarrels with LONG. The relationship between the pair is deteriorating day after day. LONG’s elder sister, YUE CHI-CHING (Margie Tsang), has been living with him. While investigating an old case, LONG gets to find his long-lost father YUE TAI-HOI (Bryan Leung). Through close collaboration with LONG, CHING-CHING has gradually developed affection for him. As she is still torn between LONG and her two-timing boyfriend SHING KA-TSUN (Kenneth Ma), LONG has started to try to avoid her without rhyme or reason. The 101st Proposal aka 'My Perfect Girl' stars Lee Moon-Shik as Dal-Jae, one of those old bachelors who can't seem to get a wife no matter how many ?? (marriage meetings) they attend. I mean, he's got it all: he's good loo... OK, not really. But, hey, he's rich... at least inside. And despite his heavy Jeolla Province dialect, he certainly has many charms, it's just that he's too damn picky (or is it the other way around?)! But all of a sudden he finds his perfect girl, a 29 year old announcer (Park Sun-Young) who will rock his world. Man, I bet her parents will love her new conquest. Story has been done to death, but this being a Weekend Drama (more time to develop characters, less incentive to use educational 'shocking revelations' to make viewers practice new swear words) and having such a good cast, we might be dealing with the closest thing to MBC's glorious mid-to-late 90s Weekend Dramas like ??? (Apartment) or (Roses & Beansprouts) in a while. Shows which took a predictable formula and just let the cast act it out for an enjoyable 50 to 60 Episodes.

Set during the Republican era, the story follows Chen Huai Hai, the owner of an old Shandong tavern as he strives to make a living in Dalian.

Chen Huai Hai used to dig for ginseng in the deep woods of Dong Bei. He experiences a big blow when his children are separated and his wife leaves him. Left with no choice, he moves to Dalian which was under Japanese colonial rule at the time to open up a tavern.

The tavern becomes a place of information where people from all walks of life convene. As a man with strong morals, Chen Huai Hai does what he can to protect his countrymen from the Japanese. He becomes acquainted with Gu San Mei who turns the tavern into a communications station for the Communist party. Under her influence, Chen Huai Hai and his family play a part in the anti-occupation efforts.
