"A Taste of Love" begins at a very fancy and famous restaurant with the talented Ma Yau as their chief chef. A middle-aged man, Joyce's dad, walked into the restaurant and requested some dishes which causes Ma Yau to know who the person is. Ma Yau cooked those special dishes and brought them out himself. They sat and talked as the man tasted his food and complimented his extreme talent. The man was Ma Yau's lifesaver because when Ma Yau was little, the man would cook a meal for Ma Yau to eat, which eventually made him interested in the profession of cooking.

Leung Tsan (Yuen Biao), a cook and a disciple of Wing Chun Master, Wong Wah Po (Yuen Wah), just wants to earn enough money to marry his sweetheart, Cheung Kin Hei (Maggie Siu). Just when his dream becomes possible, he becomes a suspect in the murder of a Manchu martial arts expert when he flees the scene with Ping Yi (Charmaine Li) whom he accidentally met. His master sends him to his classmate, Leung Yee Tai (Bryan Leung), in Foshan for safety. Determined to return to marry his fiancee, he begins his own investigation into the murder. His investigations lead Tsan to Mr. Chan's businesses and he tries to find work there. He becomes a cook for the Chan family and is shocked to find Cheung Kin Hei there, married. Misunderstandings arise. Tsan continues to investigate. Tai, an official, befriends him and tries to keep Tsan clear of the case. A beautiful Manchu princess (Selena Li) meets Tsan and after a series of misadventures, decides she wants a closer acquaintance with him.

Kitamura Kazuki and Hamada Gaku will be co-leads in the upcoming BS Sky Perfect! drama series "Hamon" which will be shown from 9 January at 9pm on Fridays. The drama which is based on the 51st Naoki Award winning novel by Kurokawa Hiroyuki, features Kitamura as a smart and well-built gangster who works together with a consultant at a construction company (Hamada) to expose the evil deeds of bad people in Osaka. As the story will not be a replica of the novel, Kurokawa expressed great anticipation in that the drama will be very interesting since it is produced by Sky Perfect and will have a larger degree of freedom.

Master TAI YAU KUNG (Gordon Liu) is skilled in training official advisor for government. He helps his foster son CHOW BING (Kenneth Ma) obtain a job in officialdom. After watching a high jump competition on TV, Lu Rui Xi was so inspired by a jumper named Zuo Yi Quan that she decides to transfer to his school, which happened to be an all-boys school; therefore, she disguises herself as a boy to get accepted. At the school, Rui Xi befriends Jin Xiu Yi. One day during a friendly soccer match, Rui Xi is knocked unconscious by Xiu Yi. Quan carries her to the infirmary and realizes that Rui Xi is in fact a girl! However, Quan keeps her identity a secret. Unfortunately, Etoire returns with an unscrupulous manager, and to make matters worse, Seri learns that it happens to be owned by her birth mother living in Paris who she hasn't seen since she was a child.
