"The Kung Fu Cult Master" is adapted from one of the famous novels written by the famed kung fu novel writer Louis Cha. Director Wong Jing makes it as a movie added with large amount of kung fu sequences and profound portraits of affections, which vividly bring the characters to life on the silver screen. The story is about Kay, the son of Shan and So, becomes one of the top kung fu masters by learning a superb kung fu by chance. However, also because of this, he is dragged in the struggle among the good and evil in the fight of two precious swords, Yee Tin and Tao Lung. Kung fu stars Jet Li and Sammo Hung have shown their marvelous and stunning martial arts techniques in the movie, together with the fantastic original story, this is a martial arts movie that one should not miss.

Young-Woong is a psychiatrist (Kim Kyeong-Ik). He has been married to Soo-Hyun (Jin Hye-Kyung) for 10 years, but their love has waned and they now feel indifferent towards each other. One day, Soo-Hyun's daughter Haru (Ayaka Tomoda) appears before them. Soo-Hyun gave birth to Haru while she was studying in Japan. Haru carries a wounded heart from her boyfriend's betrayal. Soo-Hyun asks Yoong-Woong to treat her daughter. Through their consultations, Young-Woong begins to dream of more than just a doctor and patient relationship.

Ishigami (Hidetoshi Nishijima) walks into his apartment and finds his wife dead. There's lit candles laid out in the room. Two men then enter the apartment for Ishigami, but he is able to flee the scene.

Ishigami then meets a Korean reporter Kang Ji-Won (Kim Hyo-Jin) who takes an interest in his plight and offers to help him. Ishigami surprises himself by being able to speak Korean and even having vague memories of himself as a Korean. Ishigami quickly learns to not trust his memory, while he attempts to uncover the truth behind his identity.

In 1944, the American military lands on the shores of Saipan. Refusing to commit suicide with his superiors or be forced into camps for prisoners of war, Captain Oba Sakae (Takenouchi Yutaka) leads a group of his men and other similarly minded local residents into the mountains. As the film begins, we see Owen (Rico Blanco) and Mariella (Angelica Panganiban) are fighting in a car by a lake. It appears that Owen has left his wife to be with Mariella, and is angry that Mariella is not willing to make the same sacrifice. The fight turns violent, and Owen has hit Mariella through the car window. Mariella tries to escape from the car, and the scene cuts to flashback. We see Mariella telling her husband, Ivan (Dingdong Dantes), that her best friend, Samantha (Bettina Carlos) needs company and she drives off into the night. Later that evening, their daughter Angel (Millares) comes to Ivan looking for her mother, and Ivan tells Angel that her mother has gone away.There is a car that passes by in the area where a bloody Mariella is looking for help, in the middle of a rainstorm. The driver and his passenger are singing Christmas carols in the car, Mariella knows she is dead.
