Xia Libin, an auto mechanic, is forced by his future mother-in-law to buy a house before he can get married. Bai Ping and his love interest Wei Lan from the same company plan to get married secretly, so they plan to buy a two-bedroom house in partnership with Xia Libin and pay off the mortgage together. The young pair have been in love for two years, but because the company does not allow love, they had to carry on a long-lasting underground relationship. They also did not let their family know because of circumstances and conflicts ensued and escalated.

These weapons also help in closing up the doorway that demons use to enter and wreak havoc in the mortal world. An unlikely friendship forms, yet they are fated to be enemies. Chen Jing Chou's adventures lead him to befriend a lot of different people, such as Yu Xiao Xue and Tuoba Yu'er, while Yuwen Tuo meets Dugu Ning Ke, a supposedly spoiled princess with a mysterious heritage. Their adventures are filled with misunderstandings and emotional entanglements. In the end, will they sacrifice their personal loves for the greater good, and seal up the rift in time?

After finding her real father Tawan changes her name to Yor Saeng. She meets Lek, whose older sister is married to her father. Lek is a nice man who treats Yor Saeng as his niece but eventually he falls in love with her.
