A group of elderly citizens has been nearly forgotten by the bustling modern Taiwanese society. But the baby boomer residents at the Yinhwa senior community know all about living through tough times to help usher in the Taiwanese economic boom. But when their own safe haven of Yinhwa comes under fiscal hardship, they need to act fast. With the help of young photographer Li Rong An (Darren Qiu) and Liu Yu Fan (Ikeya Chen), the senior citizens embark on a tour of Taiwan to draw attention to their cause through modern social media. Can 10 senior citizens, whose combined age is more than 700 years, prove that they are still relevant to modern society? “All in 700” is a 2016-2017 Taiwanese drama series directed by Danny Teng.

Fuse Kyoichi (Kamikawa Takaya) is a reporter who belongs to the news bureau of TBN TV. A roving reporter with no specific beat, he makes fullest use of this position and has scored numerous scoops with his distinctive interviews. Fuse obtains evidence linking the suicide of a construction company’s head of department to the illegal donation scandal of Yamanobe Tetsuo (Ono Takehiko), the secretary general of the ruling party, and confronts Yamanobe himself. However, despite having proof that the other media outlets do not have, he ends up handing the evidence over to Mochida Yutaka (Shoji Tomoharu) of Toa Shimbun just because he does not want it on television. This comes to the attention of other outlets. The bureau editor Hatoyama Akio (Fukikoshi Mitsuru) and bureau chief Yui Taro (Otomo Kohei) are naturally outraged. But Fuse is completely indifferent. Then the news bureau gets information that the actress Sawano Reiko (Shibuya Aki) is involved in a traffic accident. Reiko is an actress who attracts the entertainment media and there had also been rumours of her affair with a movie director called Sakaki who is now deceased. Fuse was the one who exposed this grand passion. When he arrives at the hospital, entertainment reporters have already gathered. Shimazaki Rokuro (Aijima Kazuyuki) is also there. Once he finds Reiko’s mother, Kaede (Lily), he aggressively seeks her comments. Fuse stands up for her and gets her into the safety of the hospital. However, Reiko passes away despite surgery. Fuse has no words to offer Kaede who is bereaved by the sudden loss of her daughter. Kaede soon calms down and tells him about a strange message that she received from Reiko right before the accident. It said, “I want to meet Sakaki. I greatly regret our breakup.” Why did Reiko, who has recovered from the shock of Sakaki’s death and been cheerful lately, suddenly express her desire to meet Sakaki. After returning to TBN TV, something occurs to him from his conversation with Kayama Eriko (Natsuna), who has become the new caster of TBN’s News 11. He heads to the bar where Kuroda Yusuke (Matsushige Yutaka), a Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department detective is at, with the intention of trading information regarding Reiko’s accident for information on Yamanobe. However, the television at the bar is shows Shimazaki reporting the contents of the message that Reiko sent to her mother on another network’s news programme. How did Shimazaki obtain a message that only Reiko’s mother and Fuse knew about? A connection between these two seemingly unrelated cases is revealed … …

The story is set in the Qing dynasty during the reign of Emperor Yong Zheng. Yong Zheng's harsh and brutal policies lead to widespread discontent and dissension. On February 4, Shogakukan is publishing the book in Japan under the title "Good Life" Sorimachi plays the part of Daichi Sawamoto, a newspaper reporter who has always prioritized his work over his family. When his wife suddenly leaves him, he finally notices the love he has been receiving from his son. Just as he decides to answer back, it is discovered that his son has leukemia. Igawa plays Sawamoto's wife, Eikura plays a pediatrics specialist, and Ihara plays a doctor.

At the end of the Sui Dynasty in ancient China in early 600AD, the country is ruled by the inept Emperor Yang Di whose excessive indulgences included women and a luxurious ship where he spends his time in merriment. The entire running of the court is thus passed on Yang Di's right-hand man Yang Su (Kent Cheng). To consolidate and strengthen his power, the vicious Yang Su builds an underground fortress where he harbours numerous assassins at his disposal, one of the most prominent ones being Hong Fu (Shu Qi). Rescued by Yang Su's adopted son Du Gu Cheng (Kong Wah) at a young age from a band of thugs who also killed her parents, the beautiful, intelligent and highly-skilled Hong Fu eventually becomes Yang Su's favourite. Indignant at the country's deplorable state, a young man Li Jing (Wallace Huo) arrives at the capital hoping to reverse the country's downward spiral. Hailing from a family which places patriotism and national welfare before personal safety, Li Jing's enthusiasm and prolific knowledge of martial arts and warfare places him in disfavour with Yang Su who views Li Jing a potential threat to himself. Yang Su promptly sends Hong Fu off to eliminate Li Jing. Alas, Li Jing's hot-blooded patriotism and passion for the commoners has struck a chord with Hong Fu's own hidden desire to elevate the people's wretched misery. She warns Li Jing to leave town immediately, only to be caught on the spot by Yang Su's other assassins. To protect him, Hong Fu is forced to fight against them and to flee from the life she has known.
