Jinno Sakurako grew up in a very poor family and is thus determined to marry a rich man so that she will never have to go through poverty ever again, and is named the "gokon queen" in her quest to find her man. Nakahara Osuke is a brilliant academic (Fields prize winner - Nobel Prize equivalent in Mathematics) who gave up his studies to take over his deceased father's fish-shop. They meet through a doctor's "gokon" (group date) and she falls in love with him under the mistaken assumption that he is a very rich man

Shan Cai, whose parents are far from wealthy, attends Ying De University, the private school established exclusively for rich students. Besides being looked down by rich classmates, she has angered the leader of F4, Dao Ming Si. F4 comprises of Dao Ming Si, Hua Ze Lei, Xi Men, and Mei Zuo, who are the heirs to the four richest families. Their families are the founder of the school and nobody dares to cross them. Shan Cai isn't afraid to stand up to DMS, an act that nobody has done before, and sparks Dao Ming Si's interest in her. However, his constant torture of her has made her miserable while she falls in love with the gentle Hua Ze Lei, who comes to her rescue. Can Dao Ming Si win her love despite his cold and cruel exterior? What happens when his mother decides to use every trick there is to keep them apart? Can they adjust to each other's differences due to their vastly incompatible social status?

The story, developed with the cooperation of the International Mathematical Olympiad in Japan, is set at a specialized math school, where Michishige and Tanaka both take on the roles of “suugaku joshi” (“math girls”). Naturally, the show will incorporate various mathematical functions and formulas into the story and dialogue.

Kazuki Sato (Dori Sakurada), a hater of math, is transferred to a new school. On the first day of his new school, he walks to school and spots a pretty girl named Nina Machida (Reina Tanaka). At school, his homeroom teacher takes him to a classroom. On the chalkboard is mathematical formulas. He is surprised. His homeroom teacher tells him that his new school specializes in mathematics. Kazuki Sato is stunned.

On the other hand, Kazuki Sato is happy to see many pretty girls in his new classroom. When he sits in his seat, he sees a girl climb through the window and into the classroom. The girl sits next to Kazuki Sato. The girl turns out to be Nina Machida, whom Kazuki spotted on his way to school.

During break, Nina Machida takes Kazuki School to the school cafeteria and tells him to buy bread whenever she asks. At this moment, Sayuri Tachikawa (Sayumi Michishige) and her two friends, who do not like Nina Machida, scheme to get Kazuki Sato and Nina Machida expelled from school.

Kazuki Sato walks around the school and sees a bunch of girls recite mathematical figures. He wonders to himself what they are doing. A girl then comes close to him and tells him that they are practicing to become the math president. Meanwhile, Nina Machida sits on a bench and a teacher sits next to her. Nina Machida tells her that she misses her older sister a lot. Her older sister went missing, right after she became the math president. Now, Nina Machida wants to become the math president...

This drama was filmed on location in the beautiful surroundings of the state of Oregon, US. It poignantly deals with the difficulties faced by Akira, a nine-year-old Japanese boy who is sent to live in America with his aunt and her family after his parents die in a traffic accident in Tokyo. Making the adjustment is not easy at first, but as the story unfolds, Akira courageously learns to face the challenges of his new life, strongly supported by the love of his new family and the kindness of their neighbors. The series is sure to warm the hearts of viewers of all ages.

Living in an area known for its juvenile crime, 21-year-old Makoto is a friend of King, the leader of a youth gang called the G-Boys, though he himself does not want to join as a member. Known for his cool head and ability to get things done, Makoto becomes an key trouble-shooter for the gang by diffusing tense situations and keeping his friends out of harm's way.
