In each of the ten episodes of this factual docudrama, viewers can observe dramatized re-enactments of historic events from different period in Korean history, starting from hunter-gatherers of the prehistoric era. The show follows the brave expedition of King Gwanggaeto, the Great, portrays the tense competition among three kingdoms, and finally shows how Silla succeeds in unifying the three kingdoms. The drama is based only on reliable historical documents, and even the small details such as wardrobes, accessories, and set, are known to be accurate recreation of historic relics.
