A medical drama series that focuses on the lives and loves of the doctors and nurses at Yan Oi Hospital in Hong Kong. Lawrence Ng plays the life and soul of Healing Hands as a neurosurgeon, Dr. Paul Ching Chi Mei. The other main role is played by Bowie Lam, who plays Dr. Henry Lai Kwok Chu as an accident and emergency (A&E) doctor who is best friends with Paul.

Haruhi Fujioka (Haruna Kawaguchi) is a female high school student the prestigious Ouran Academy. Unlike most of the students who come from wealthy families, Haruhi Fujioka comes from a modest family background and entered the school with an academic scholarship. The narrator tells the story of his family's struggles, first as distillery owners making sorghum wine and then as resistance fighters during the Second Sino-Japanese War; as a drama adaptation there will be a greater emphasis on the female perspective.
