Yano Katsuhiko, a weather forecaster who is divorced and is introduced by his friend, Taguchi to popular radio DJ Yukawa Sachi aka "Love Specialist". Yano recalled seeing pictures of her before but the person he actually saw is Sachi's friend, Yujin.

Huang Cai Wei was engaged to Bai Qian Feng when he went missing on a business trip and presumed dead. She was then forced to marry his brother Bai Qian Sheng. His obvious favoritism of her incited jealousy in his other wives, especially his primary wife Ma Fu Fang. Huang managed to outmaneuver many of the women's ploy using her wits. She works with Dong Ki Joon. He is Sa Ra’s business partner and an advisory lawyer at Solution. Before coming to Solution, he was an excellent prosecutor who had the nickname of "German Shepherd." He picked up the nickname because of his persistence and keen intuition, but Ki Joon left the prosecutors' office for an unknown reason. Sa Ra and Ki Joon work together for people who are suffering through difficult divorces.

Life and love for young people living in the 90's with their dreams heading towards the millenium. Yet their dreams are not lofty aspirations but realisable ordinary ones that each of us embrace in our hearts. The main character Hyun-Woo, a boyish and outgoing young man is a computer mechanic who is dilligent at work and loves to do all kinds of sports. Deep in his heart he has never forgotten his first love, Chae-Hee who is now engaged to his highschool senior. Thus, he never quite pays attention to the cute Won-Young working in the same office. Won-Young promises herself not give up her dreams - love for Hyun-Woo and her ambition to eventually become an announcer on TV. In times of lonliness and anger she climbs up to the rooftop of her office building and shouts on the top of her voice. This is a drama viewing young people's lifestyle, goals in life and their innocence and purity in love.

Detective Rio Segawa (Nao Matsushita) works at the Oimachi Police Precinct. She chases a criminal for an entire month. Rio finally finds the criminal and goes in hot pursuit, but, during her pursuit, Detective Rio falls down from a gunshot by the criminal. 2 months later, as soon as Detective Rio comes back to the police force, she is ordered to transfer to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s Violent Crimes Division. When Detective Rio arrives at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s Violent Crimes Division, news of a random street attack arrives. Detectives Kei Teranishi (Yu Yokoyama), Mikiya Iwasaki (Yukiya Kitamura) & Masato Eto (Yoshiyaki Yoza) rushes out before Rio can properly introduce herself. Section head Shoji Koitabashi (Masanobu Katsumura) and Kozo Sugiura (Shigeru Izumiya) are the only men left in the office and they order Rio to go to Ryonan University to pick up someone she will work with. That person is a psychology professor Jun Nagumo (Naohito Fujiki). When Rio arrives at Ryonan University, Jun Nagumo is giving a lecture on human behavioral psychology based on footage when Rio got shot. Nagumo got the images from an acquaintance at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

Late Qing Dynasty, a wealthy merchant, Mr. Bai, in a small town of Jiangnan region is murdered and his death becomes the region's most publicized crime. An Pinyuan, a bounty hunter, is assigned to Baisha (White Sand) Town to solve the murder case. Slowly, he discovers that Mr. Bai died because of a secret. The four wives of the Bai family, the Japanese, and bandits all seem to play a part in the case and exhaust much of death is also closely linked to his own father's death. Toda and Miura play two teachers, Natsumi Uemura and Shuji Kashiwagi, at the same high school who are set to get married in half a year. However, the night before the school year's opening ceremony, Shuji becomes involved with the young Hikari Saeki (played by Takei), without realizing that she will be a student in his class starting the next day. As Shuji struggles to help Hikari deal with the mental complex she is suffering from, he is also torn inside by his betrayal of Natsumi. Meanwhile, Hikari attempts to get closer to Natsumi, driven by feelings of jealousy and a desire to destroy the couple's relationship.

Park Jung Min plays Po Xi Huan, a Taiwanese-Korean second-generation chaebol from a Korean company who does not wish to inherit his family business. Kingone Wang is his Taiwanese cousin, Yan Han Xiang, who would gladly take over the company, and who runs the family business division in Taiwan. Han Xiang is a little annoyed that younger cousin is uninterested in taking over the business yet might inherit over him. Xi Huan meets Mi En, a talented pastry chef who has caught the eye of Han Xiang, and gradually falls in love with her. Lia Lee is Chen Ai Lin, the daughter of the owner of a pastry conglomerate in Taiwan and also Mi En's college best friend, who is in love with Han Xiang.
