A man who continuously attempts and fails the public examinations returns home without hope for his future. There he finds some hope and comfort.

Rin is a popular singer who is dating Mami. Rin loves Mami and was going to propose to her but they get into an argument. Takehito, a vocalist of the unpopular indie band "EVEN", sees Rin, who ran out of the home after the argument. Takehito tries to help Rin but both get involved in a car accident. Rin wakes up and realizes that he is in Takehito's body. Rin starts to write a song with the members of "EVEN" to inform Mami that he is in Takehito's body.

He eyes Shuntaro with a cold stare and often times conflicts with his opinions. Watching over Shuntaro and Teru like a big brother is Asahi Junpei, a senior detective who goes in between the two and tries to settle their disputes but instead ends up complicating the situation.
