Rookie policeman Will Ren and his partner, the veteran cop Cham Lau, are pursuing an obsessive and especially brutal murderer of women. To lure this “hand-fetish” ripper, they use the criminal Wong To, who needs to atone for causing an accident involving Cham’s family, as bait. But this young woman is both unpredictable and insubordinate. Underground rapper Hak Soo has challenged TV audition program for 6 years but never gets into the finalist. On the day that he fails his 7th audition, he receives a call from his hometown that his father is in the hospital. He rushes his hometown Byun San, where he has left since high school only to find it is his father's plot to bring him to Byun San. He immediately heads back to Seoul, but he is suspected as a phishing scam criminal there, and somehow bound in Byun San, the small, boring suburb.

Director Moriya Kentaro (School Daze) goes for a Japanese take on Four Rooms with Seaside Motel, an ensemble comedy based on the comic book Motel by Okada Yukio. The surreal comedy first hilariously sets up its premise by bringing groups of strangers that include gangsters, gamblers, and call girls into four separate rooms, only to send them into a chaotic colliding course over one fateful night. To match his eccentric group of characters, Moriya has brought together an equally eccentric cast that includes Ikuta Toma (The Fallen Angel), Aso Kumiko (Instant Swamp), Yamada Takayuki (Crows Zero), Tamayama Tetsuji (Goemon), Narumi Riko (Bushido Sixteen), and Furuda Arata (20th Century Boys). The first thing that's wrong with the Seaside Motel is that it's surrounded by mountains with no sea by its side. The second thing wrong is its weird group of guests tonight: A traveling salesman of bogus cosmetics (Ikuta Toma) and a call girl (Kumiko Aso); a businessman with erectile dysfunction (Furuta Arata) and his bored wife; a indebted gambler (Yamada Takayuki), his girlfriend (Narumi Riko), and his debt collector (Tamayama Tetsuji); and don't forget the cabaret girl and her usual customer. They may all be in different rooms with their own problems, but the paths of these strangers will intertwine into an unsolvable knot on this particularly eventful night, and it can only happen at the Seaside Motel.

The granny with dementia is the only witness of the day. In her mind, Moon Hee is ‘Secret Jouju’, the princess in TV animation. In reality, Moon Hee is a granny with Alzheimer’s disease cared by her son, Du Won and the grand-daughter, Bo Mi. On one secret night-out with Bo Mi, Bo Mi gets a hit-and-run accident. Moon Hee is the only witness, but she rather mumbles the nonsense. Bo Mi stays in a coma and the police can’t help. Now Du Won has to track down that culprit with a few pieces of the vehicle and his mother’s might-be-meaningful gibberish.

Go Eun (Song Yoon Ah), a wedding dress designer and single mom, has only a limited number of days to live. Before parting from her young daughter So Ra (Kim Hyang Gi), Go Eun wants to do everything she can for her, including making a beautiful wedding dress for So Ra for the future.

As her condition worsens, So Ra finds out about the cancer and tries to fulfill her mother's wishes one by one, in secret...
