The iron triangle: Wu Xie, Zhang Qi Ling and Wang Pang Zi find themselves on a train headed for the mountainous Korean border in search of a mysterious, mythical palace in a world of glaciers, avalanches, and blizzards. They have no idea why Wu San Sheng has sent the message that brought them all together again, but they soon discovers that they are not alone in their search for the peak that holds the palace, Ning is on the same trail with a team of foreigners. Not only that, Chen Pi A Si has his own interests to look out for and so brings along Monk Hua, Lang Feng and Ye Cheng. They are joined by a guide as well, Shun Zi. As they move deeper within the maze of mountain tunnels, all of them begin to wonder if this adventure will be their final quest.

“W no Higeki” is an adaptation of a novel by Natsuki Shizuko, which was first published in 1982. It was first dramatized for TV in 1983; turned into a theatrical movie in 1984, then got two separate drama adaptations in 2001 and 2010. In the original W no Higeki book, the main character is a foreigner who has no blood link to the titular W (originally Wada) family; she's just the English teacher and friend of the heiress. Because of this, all film and TV adaptations turned the heroine(s) into Japanese characters, with slight variations in plot. The original title was based on Ellery Queen's 1930s Tragedy of... books which ran from X to Z (translated into Japanese as ...no Higeki respectively). The new version of the story will have Takei playing two different characters. One is Mako, the daughter of the Watsuji (W) family, owners of a major business conglomerate. She has always lived in comfort, and as a result, she yearns to finally grasp life with her own hands. The other character is Satsuki, a show pub dancer who lives a solitary and destitute life in a corner of the city and who desires money and power. The drama appears to follow the concept of two women who exchange lives, leading to various tragic events for both of them. --Tokyograph

The story is set in the private senior high school Minami Gakuen which boasts of an unusually high proportion of good-looking students and aims to win at the National Ikemen Contest for senior high school students.

Chiu and his best friend, Hung, invoke a saucer spirit (a Chinese equivalent of the Ouija board) in an attempt to find out the questions of an upcoming assessment, but they are interrupted halfway through the process and do not finish it properly. They desperately try to finish the process at Chiu's home but supernatural events take place, resulting in the death of Chiu's parents. Eighteen years later, Chiu, who has been learning the art of exorcism from a master after the tragedy, meets Hung again. Hung has been suffering from severe PTSD in the last eighteen years. As Chiu tries to help his best friend overcome his condition, supernatural happenings take place, and they realize the the problem that started eighteen years ago may not have ended.

The school bully and the stubborn girl engaged in multiple rounds of confrontation, from competing for the gloves to claiming the rooftop and even waging a prank war. Bu Han Lu's drama-loving group and Lin Qian Yu's villainous gang ended up forming a friendship. To fulfill Bu Han Lu's dream of establishing an astronomy club, everyone joined forces to search for UFOs and investigate the disappearance of a telescope. The friends discovered that Bu Han Lu had been suffering from "alien delusions." Lin Qian Yu's sister, Lin Qian Qian, turned out to be the mastermind behind this scheme. She was actually a good friend of Bu Han Yu and, in order to help fulfill her friend's last wish, created an extraterrestrial illusion for Bu Han Lu. Upon learning the truth, Bu Han Lu realized that youth is not about waiting but is built on the foundation of these lovely friends.

Jiang Shuo is in the business of buying haunted houses and selling them. He crosses paths with Qin Yi Heng, a psychologist searching for his father, and Yuan Mu Qing who is the daughter of a warlord. Together, they partner up to fight against mysterious forces.

Jiang Shuo suffers from amnesia but is well-versed in the affairs of the occult. Qin Yi Feng receives a letter that contains the countdown to Jiang Shuo's time of death and evidence of his father's abduction when he went missing one year ago, sealed with the six-finger seal. Qin Yi Heng becomes determined to track down the only clue that might lead him back to his father. Jiang Shuo is able to use Zhuyoushu to enter another person's psychological time and space. With only a limited time and threats from the defense mechanisms of a person's psyche, Jiang Shuo puts himself at great risk each time he tries to find clues that will help him uncover answers. Fortunately, Qin Yi Heng's psychological prowess and female constable Yuan Mu Qing's fighting skills are ready to back him up.
