Kim Je Hyuk, a famous baseball player, is convicted after using excessive force while chasing a man trying to sexually assault his sister. Shockingly to him and the rest of the nation, he is sentenced to a year in prison. There he meets his childhood friend and fellow baseball player, Lee Joon Ho, who gave up on baseball after a car accident, but now is a prison guard and one of Je Hyuk's biggest fans. The drama revolves around Je Hyuk's time in prison, as well as prisoners he meets and events that take place there.

One day, Kanta Yamashita (Hirofumi Arai) is fired by his company. Kanta is unable to tell his wife Saori (Meisa Kuroki) about his sudden loss of employment. He decides to start a vacation rental business. His new business doesn't go very and, making things worse, Saori finds out that Kanta got fired from his company.

  The drama will center around Ma Yeo Jin (Ko Hyun Jung), a elementary teacher of the 6th grade and her students Shim Ha Na (Kim Hyang Gi), Oh Dong Goo (Chun Bo Geun) and Kim Seo Hyun (Kim Sae Ron) who are reveling against her. Teacher Ma is very realistic and to her elementary students, she shows how tough it is to live the world. Instead of being a shield for her students, she herself becomes the authority. She often pushes her students to the edge by blackmailing and mischief-making. Whole class of 6-3 (class 3 of the sixth grade) is rebelling against teacher Ma's educational attitude which is incomprehensible. Sometimes they would betray each other, sometimes they help each other and gradually they realize secret of the reality and make on their own views of the world. This kind of setting of the drama is totally new compared to the previous drama where the teachers were always the protectors of their students. Teacher Ma is trying to be the high wall for the students and her students are trying not to be defeated and overcome the highness of the wall. Baek Doo was born as the youngest son of a prestigious ssireum family. In the past, he was known as a genius like ssireum wrestler, but not anymore. He is thinking about retiring from the sport altogether. One day, Baek Doo meets his childhood friend Oh Yoo Kyung and has a turning point in his ssireum life. Yoo Kyung and Baek Doo grew up together in Geosan County. She begins to work as a leader of the management team for the ssireum team, which is on the verge of disbanding.

Meanwhile, they have people around them like Min Hyun Wook, who suddenly appears at Geosan County and adjusts well to life here, and Joo Mi Ran, who is a mysterious cafe owner.
