Khao Kang sells curry-over-rice (khao kaeng) at a boys' school. Moo is a grade twelve student who dreams of becoming an idol. He splits his time between hitting on Kang and training. He simultaneously wants love and to realise his dream, but it seems he cannot have it when debuting comes with the caveat that relationships are forbidden.

Park Do Ra is a bright, brave woman with a challenging personality who became a top actress because her mother, Baek Mi Ja, said it was the only way to escape poverty. After earning fame and fortune as a top star, all Do Ra wants to do is rest and enjoy her riches, but her mother keeps causing trouble. Mi Ja always adorns herself in luxury, even more than any top star, thanks to Do Ra's success. However, Mi Ja wants more. Tobita Tasuku's father, Jinpei left a letter and disappeared on the day of Tasuku's high school graduation. Coming into their world, understanding as he comes, Pithan is cutting the trail of love and forgiveness toward Muanprae and Prangtong. It not an easy task and still, he might get burn as well.

This renzoku is about Wada Kiyomi (referred to as Kiyomi-B), a girl brought up in Fukui who moves to Osaka in search of her soul. In Osaka, Kiyomi-B becomes enchanted with rakugo, a Japanese traditional form of comic storytelling, and pursues a career in rakugo. In the summer of 1982, Kiyomi-B and her family move to Obama of Fukui, her father's hometown. Kiyomi-B's grandmother and uncle welcome the family, but Shotaro the grandfather does not allow Masanori to take over the Wakasa lacquer chopsticks making. One day, Kiyomi-B listens to rakugo at Shotaro's factory and becomes fond of it. Shotaro and Kiyomi-B become close through rakugo.
