First-year students draw lots to determine their peer mentors and, by a stroke of fate, Arm lands himself in the exclusive circle of "Perfect 10 Liners," a group comprising extraordinary students from various years, with Yipun as his second-year peer mentor. Yipun entrusts him with the formidable task of managing the Engineer Cute Boy page, a widely popular online platform. Despite his reluctance, Arm performs admirably as the page's administrator. In response to many fan requests, he uploads a photo of third-year civil engineering student Arc, unaware of the prohibition against doing so. Not knowing the admin's identity, Arc sends a harsh message demanding the photo's deletion. Detesting Arc's rudeness, he develops a dislike for Arc before learning that Arc is his third-year mentor. Despite his reservations, Arm finds himself interacting with Arc with some frequency, for mentorship and otherwise. What Arm doesn't know is that he's been let into Arc's inner circle because Arc was smitten with him at first sight. On his first day of university, disaster strikes Gun hard. Hapless as he is, Gun manages to break a bathroom faucet. Fortunately, a classmate comes to his rescue. Amidst the chaos, however, Gun doesn't get a look at his saviour's face, just catching a glimpse of their shoes. Eventually, he tracks the shoes to Faifa and expresses his gratitude. As they get to know each other, Gun realises it was actually Yotha, Faifa's older Irish twin who he should be thanking.

Hasumi Kyoko is a former lawyer who quit her job when she became a mother. A scandal with another woman is also revealed. Kyoko's life as a "good wife" begins to change. To protect her children, she decides to work again as a lawyer. She is hired temporarily at a law office and begins to work as a lawyer for the first time in 16 years.

Kota Shimoda, Nao Nakamura and Norisuke Uehara live within the same apartment complex in a provincial city. They are also good friends. Kota Shimoda works as a public officer. He bluffs that he is good at fighting, but he has never been in a fight before. Nao Nakamura wants to become a Hollywood celebrity. She is a bright and outgoing person. Norisuke Uehara's dream is to become a K-pop artist, but he doesn't make any effort in achieving his dream. They are bored easily and look for stimulation around them.

This series shows stories of lonely people in the age of social media. Everyone stays by themselves on the same floor, from room 401 to 410. Although their lifestyles may be different, the owner of each room has to confront with the same problem, and that is loneliness. Social media seems to be the only choice for them to have someone for talking, liking, and following. However, in reality, that loneliness cannot be deleted.

Haruka Tsubaki hops on a plane from New York to Tokyo. She will be filling in the newscaster position on a news program that will begin airing on CNB Television. Haruka used to work as an anchor and was called "the legendary anchor" until she was involved in an incident that forced her to lose her position there. She flew to America alone to pursue her career as a journalist. He says Haruka headed to check out the news studio as soon as she arrived at CNB. The crew try to extend their greetings to her, but she pays no attention. Instead, she dismisses the programming strategy she was given, and insists, "Go for scoops." What's more surprising is that Haruka appoints Nozomi Asuka — who was scheduled to deliver weather forecasts — as her assistant. She tells Asuka that it's the assistant's job to work alongside her for 24 hours and wake her up every morning. "Why do I have to spend my private time with her...?" Full of doubts, Nozomi heads to Haruka's apartment with her luggage. What awaits her?

Along the way, they are gradually changed by their profound experiences, realizing that they are not just investigators and detectives but also psychotherapists, life consultants, and even enforcers of justice.
