Lu Nan Yi and Lin Qing Qiu were innocent playmates in their youth. Their difference in social status did not stop them from secretly falling in love. On a stormy night when they had prepared to fly far and high together, they were separated. Three years later, Lin Qing Qiu has become the prefect of Jinzhou while Lu Nan Yi has become a popular novelist. As he takes office, Lin Qing Qiu who is new to position intends to apply strict measures. However, Lu Nan Yi becomes involved in a murder case because of her writing. Seeing each other again after all these years, the two exes start to "take revenge" for the hurt that they experienced in the past.
