A coming of age story about young people in their twenties and the problems they face in university. Nam Soo Hyun and Yeon Joo, two boys with contrasting personalities, unexpectedly become friends when they work on a project together.

Depicts the realistic worries and conflicts of university students in their 20's, centered around 3rd-year student Yeo Joon. Even though Yeo Joon has an attractive appearance and comes from a wealthy background, he carries pain inside. His character is a puppy-dog freshman who takes a liking to a sunbae and follows him around, leading to an unlikely friendship between two very different boys.

The cool, beautiful Sasaki Rena is the lone investigator who works for for a medium-sized research agency called Suma Research Agency. Because of her past related to her sister's death, she became a detective that investigates and pursues unscrupulous detectives. Her beloved younger sister was murdered by a stalker and she has been searching for the investigator who caused her sister’s death in order to take revenge.

This drama attempts to send a message that any human being is beautiful by just existing in this world. People’s desire to have their say in everything, to succeed and to be beautiful stems from their deep-rooted disbelief in themselves. They are unable to love themselves the way they are. The underlying reason of the loss of interest in life is the disappointment with people. But even those who get disappointed with other human beings are negligent in loving their own selves.

The main character, Kim Min Ho was born into a family of a business tycoon but his family turned away from him because he was an illegitimate child. While having a hard time because of her mother’s re-marriages, Chung Soo Hee falls in love with Kang Min Ho, who turns out to be a friend of her boyfriend, Yoo Ji An. Frivolous Choi Mi Ri loves gangster Kang Ho Chul against her family's wishes. Oh Young Sook calls herself "crazy" and disguises herself in a lie. All these people are linked together by the mute owner of an eatery in the neighborhood, an old woman named Mi Young.

Transported back to the ninteteenth century by a strange cellphone, an entrepreneur is tricked into slavery and has to find a way back to the present day.
