The company’s objective is not just to facilitate a breakup for the client, but to “abduct” the targeted individual. Otherwise known as “Thief Cat” Minami Hinako has a 100% robbery success rate. She skilfully manipulates her appearance and personality to make the target fall for her, thus tearing apart relationships between men and women. Kishibe Midori is a 25-year-old woman who works in the editorial department of a fashion magazine that belongs to a large publishing company. However, the fashion magazine was cancelled by its parent company. Kishibe Midori then gets transferred to the editing department for a dictionary. What awaits Kishibe Midori is that there are people filled with personality, including the head of the editorial department, Majime Mitsuya. Initially, Kishibe Midori had a hard time in her new workplace.

As time goes by, she becomes inspired by the persistence and enthusiasm of those who work around her. They have spent over a decade working on one dictionary. Kishibe Midori finds attractiveness in the words she works with. She also develops pride and self-fulfilment over her work.

Based on the life of movie director Keisuke Kinoshita. As a young man, Keisuke Kinoshita (Ryo Kase) carried his mother on a handcart across a mountain. Called Ishiko because she is obstinate, 28-year-old Ishida Shoko graduated at the top of her class at Tokyo University’s law faculty but has failed the bar exam four times. Although she tells the people around her that it is not that she cannot become a lawyer but that she ought not to, Ishiko gave up on the bar exam out of fear that she would fail again. She has been working as a paralegal at her father Wataro’s law firm. 34-year-old Haneoka Yoshio, a high school graduate who dropped out of university in the US after six months and spent several years wandering around the country, passed the bar exam on his first try thanks to his photographic memory. He professes to be Haneo with a personality as light as a feather and brands himself an unconventional talented lawyer. In reality, he lacks the ability to respond to situations and his train of thought grinds to a halt when the unexpected happens. The two of them with their own inferiority complexes are thrown together when Haneo makes the acquaintance of Ishiko’s father and comes to the law firm.

Sayama Miyabi is a talented salesperson working at Celeste Real Estate. After being dumped by her boyfriend on their 6th anniversary, she decides to focus more on her career rather than romance. By chance, she meets Donose Tsukasa, a high-spec company president who is looking for a marriage without emotional attachment. Aoishi Hanae is a plain, inconspicuous office lady who has had no experience in love and no boyfriend. On her 30th birthday, she happens to end up drinking with Tanokura Yuto, a cool university student nine years her junior who is also a part-timer at her company, on the way home from a welcome party for new employees. Hanae gets drunk. When she wakes up the next morning, she finds a naked Yuto sleeping next to her. She has her first experience and first boyfriend out of the blue. Even when Hanae and Yuto go on to date, it is a daily process of trial and error because everything is a first for Hanae, including an amusement park date, a sleepover, Christmas Eve or a couple’s trip. To complicate matters, she also gets a proposal from Asao Yu, the CEO of an Italian food company who is popular with women, and a love triangle develops.

Sato Yui is a dispatched contract worker at Amagi Pharmaceutical Company. Her pet has died and she feels deep sorrow over its death. She then leaves the bar. Yui is unaware that the man she tripped is Amagi Kyoichi and he is the CEO of Amagi Pharmaceutical Company.

The next day, Yui hears at work that the CEO is looking for her. When she gets to his office, she realizes the man she tripped in the bar is the CEO. She thinks that she might get fired, but he suddenly tells her to "Please treat me as a slave."

Okuda Akane has been subjected to domestic violence and moral harassment by her husband, Okuda Daisuke. After experiencing a miscarriage due to domestic violence, Akane begins to reconsider her life and follow the instructions in a mysterious letter to punish her husband socially.

Kanji Senkawa (Dean Fujioka) receives requests which the police or private investigators can't handle. He solves the cases by threatening people. Kanji Senkawa meets wealthy university student Mio Kanesaka (Emi Takei). She has a good heart and and can't ignore those in difficult situations. Kanji and Mio get involved in various cases including voice phishing and kidnappings.

Tasai, Mitsushima and Ango are all married, but they want to have a girlfriend. They know that is not right, but they still want a girlfriend because they are not happy with their marriage life. Their problem is that they don't know how to find a girlfriend. Mitsushima then brings Masumi Ibuse (Itsuji Itao) who teaches men how to make girlfriends. Masumi Ibuse first had a girlfriend at the age of 22 and he also has experience having 11 girlfriends at the same time.
