The story follows a young man who has been single for a year after his boyfriend suddenly disappeared without a formal breakup. Due to circumstances Satoru is forced to find a new home for his cat Nana. Satoru, a gentle boy with a secret, boards a silver station wagon with his cat companion and they embark on a "final journey" to find a new owner for Nana.

This is the last part of the Odyssey Trilogy. Fairy Zixia uses the Pandora's Box to look into the future. She sees there's a war coming between mankind and the gods. Desperate to prevent this from happening, she travels back in time, also hoping to try and stop Joker, the current human form of the Monkey King from falling for her and to push him towards his supposed true love Bai Jingjing. 29-year-old Me Sook is the most unpopular teacher at school. She used to be a Russian language teacher at a high school but was relegated to a middle school to teach English which she can't even understand. She also has a chronic blushing problem, often afraid to even lift her face up. But to top it off, she is in love with another married teacher, Mr Seo, and believes that he feels the same but is just too shy to show his feelings.

So when she finds out that he's having an affair with an attractive Russian teacher who took her place in high school, Me Sook decides to take action. Hiding her true intentions, she forms an alliance with Mr. Seo's daughter, Jong Hee, the most unpopular student at school. Jong Hee cooperates with Me Sook to save her father's marriage. They plot ways to separate the lovebirds, becoming friends in the process and also slowly falling into their own trap.

The Fuccons began as a series of comic sketches on the Japanese TV program Vermillion Pleasure Night: A family of Americans, James and Barbara and their son Mikey, move to Japan "to live as Japanese." The brief skits consist of still photographs of window store dummies in Kennedy-era outfits juxtaposed with over-the-top vocal performances and lots of forced laughter. The humor is labored and inane; the dummies--obviously a Japanese take on Caucasians--recall the American cartoons of the 1930s that trafficked in ethnic stereotypes. Graduate students in sociology may someday write theses about what The Fuccons reveals about Japanese attitudes towards Americans; connoisseurs of outré cultural phenomena may revel in the series' we're-so-dumb-we're-hip charms. Episodes run the gamut from the silly to the surreal, sometimes ending with a joke and sometimes not. Episodes invariably end with the characters laughing hysterically, even if the episode ends on a serious note. Occasionally the series diverts from following the Fuccons and instead focuses on a destitute Japanese family, the Kawakitas.
