19-year-old freeter Tsuyoshi Osanai (Yosuke Asari) enters a school for guide dog trainers. After 2 years of training, Tsuyoshi becomes an assistant trainer. His first dog to train is Chie. Chie was separated from his mother 2 months after birth and then lived with the Hasegawa family. Chie lived there for 10 months and then was sent to the dog training school. Tsuyoshi tries to train Chie as a guide dog, but it does not work well. Tsuyoshi then talks to Miwa (Risa Kondo), the 10-year-old daughter of the Hasegawa family. Miwa is especially close to Chie and tells Tsuyoshi the only thing she did with Chie was love the dog. One day, in front of Tsuyoshi and Chie, a rock singer named Makoto appears. Makoto has become blind from a accident. Since losing her sight, Makoto has closed her mind to the world. Now, Tsuyoshi and Chie try to to open her mind, but an accident happens to Chie ...

The story takes place during a summer of continuous sunshine when water supply restrictions are issued in the city. Shunsaku Iwakiri works for the city's water department and his job is to visit homes and stores that are behind on their bills and either collect the money or shut off the water supply (water suspension enforcement). Shunsaku is separated from his wife and children, and his heart grows thirsty as he spends his days visiting poor households and being abhorred. One day, during a water shutoff, Shunsaku meets two young sisters who have been neglected. He sees them as his own children and offers them a helping hand.

A sequel to the entertaining "Operation Pink Squad" (1988) that throws a heavy dose of comedy and horror into the mix. The Pink Squad (Sandra Ng, Anne Bridgewater, and some other Asian beauty) get assigned to go undercover as Japanese hostesses in order to break up a counterfeiting ring led by Shing Fui On. They are also aided by the Captain's niece, played with exuberance by a very young and extremely cute Cheung Man, who ends up stealing the show (at least for me). Sandra and Billy Lau are now married, and Billy is convinced that his wife is having an affair with the police Captain (typecast Wu Fong) as the result of some silly miscommunication. He spends the first half of the film devising fiendishly amusing ways to punish the adulterers, and even fantasizes that he's Chow Yun-Fat from "The Killer" (1989) at one point. During the sting operation, the girls' new headquarters are in a haunted apartment that Buddhist monk Yuen Chueng Yan is in the process of exorcising. One of the ghosts manages to get away and wreaks all sorts of havoc on all the main characters. After numerous mishaps, our heroes finally manage to cut off the ghost's head, which just makes her mad. Now the good guys are being chased around by a headless body and a flying head! As luck would have it, the head falls into the villain's (Shing Fui On) bag, and he runs off with it thinking it's the counterfeit printing plates. More silliness ensues. Finally, in the last twenty minutes, all of the heroes band together and banish all of the evil spirits back to hell.

Michiko Oshitani, who lived in Shiga Prefecture, is found dead at an apartment in Tokyo. She was strangled to death. Mutsuo Koshikawa is the owner of the apartment and he goes missing. Detectives including Yuhei Matsumiya who is a cousin of Detective Kyoichiro Kaga , have difficulties in solving the case. They can't find a connection between Michiko Oshitani and Mutsuo Koshikawa. They soon learn that Michiko Oshitani came to Tokyo to visit Hiromi Asai . They graduated from the same school, but there isn't a connection between Hiromi Asai and Mutsuo Koshikawa. Detective Yuhei Matsumiya finds something near Michiko Oshitani's body. That something has the names of 12 bridges surrounding the Nihonbashi area of Tokyo. Emiko meets Yo in high school while they’re both members of the newspaper club. After Yo kisses her for the first time, they wind up having sex impulsively. Hitsujido Honpo, an established Japanese-style sweets company known for its traditional flavours and reliability, has maintained a modest popularity. To win a new segment of customers, it has embarked on new business development. The leader of this team of five young employees is 28-year old Kudo Mayuko (Takahata Mitsuki). Mayuko was headhunted by the current CEO Okazaki Kengo (Maruyama Tomomi), for her achievements in her previous job. However, she struggles with the difficulty of new business development and pressures within the company. One day, a “new” 68-year-old employee Niimoto Kazuo (Kusakari Masao) is assigned to be Mayuko’s subordinate all of a sudden. She is dumbfounded to learn that he is 40 years her senior and even feels anger. Mayuko is confronted with the question of whether he should do the old job he was proud of?
