Woo Soo grew up as an orphan. His life was full of anger, exacerbated by being poor. One day, Woo Soo meets some kids. The children makes Woo Soo realize that even though he is poor, he can still share with others. This changes his life. Woo Soo works as a delivery man for a Chinese restaurant. He makes $700 dollars a month. He shares his earnings with the kids. Woo Soo hears someone say "thank you" for the first time to him. He cannot possibly be any happier. Things abruptly come to a halt when Woo Soo gets involved in an accident.

Working at a transgender bar, Min-a is a female with male genitals. When her colleague is assaulted by a male customer, she steps in to help, only to accidentally kill the assaulter. At the court, Min-a insists that she had no choice – she had to protect her colleague - but the situation is not favorable to her. Taking advantage of her sexual identity, the prosecutor drives the case as if the murder were a result out of jealousy, and Min-a’s own lawyer does not pay attention to her situation. Not until Min-a is placed in a men’s jail and is seized with terror do the human rights issues for transgender people emerge. Min-a is finally transferred to a prison for females, but still she suffers from misunderstanding. Presenting the transgender human rights issues as a court drama, this film tries to correct the myriad misunderstandings toward transgender people. Director Kim Se-yeon made this film based on a true story about a transgender person jailed with male inmates. This is also a court drama that embraces the conventional styles rather than new techniques.

Despite her great credentials, Kanou begins work at a well-paid escort service, but on the first day, she runs from a client and is reassigned to menial work. Based on classical Thai literature, Kunpan is a magical, tragic love story based on the life and times of a strong warrior, Kun Pan. During a time of rebellion, Pan's arch enemy and rival for Pimpilalai's love, convinces the king to send Pan off to battle. He must go off and fight, and leave his love behind. Time goes by, and Pan's rival tries to console Pimpilalai while telling her Pan must have died in battle. Eventually she believes him, and mourns. But Kun Pan is not dead, and he comes back from battle with his second wife, only to find that Pimpilalai is now with his rival. Pan wants... no needs, his revenge. But when the king finds out about the rivalry, he banishes Pan from the kingdom. With nowhere else to go, he ends up in the forest, and with a third wife. There, he gets magical powers both spiritual and material. Again back in the Kingdom, Pan takes Pimpilalai away to live with him in the forest. From there, events continue to happen to complicate his life, that of his wives, and everyone around them in a swirl of fate and retribution, and tragedy.

Kyoko Fukada (Takeshi Kitano's Dolls) plays Momoko who yearns to be part of the Rococo aristocracy. A shame then, as she was born two centuries too late. Her Pony-tails gang is one of Ibaraki's "wild speed tribes", whose teeth-rattling customized bikes are decked out with their fibreglass shields and bannered back rests. She, too, is decked out in her elaborately decorated Tokkofuku boiler-suits.
