After suffering from serial paranormal events, a wealthy family living in LA summons a young rising shaman duo Hwa Rim and Bong Gil to save the newborn of the family. Once they arrive, Hwa Rim senses a dark shadow of their ancestor has latched on the family in a so-called 'Grave Calling'.

In order to exhume the grave and relieve the ancestor, Hwa Rim seeks help from top-notch geomancer Sang Deok and mortician Yeong Geun. To their dismay, the four find the grave at a shady location in a remote village in Korea. Unaware of the consequences, the exhumation is carried out, unleashing a malevolent force buried underneath.

She seems to have similar values to him and he is attracted to her. Mizushima Satoru asks for her cellphone number, but she doesn’t own a cellphone. They make a promise to meet at the cafe every Thursday. Since then, Mizushima Satoru & Miharu Miyuki meet every Thursday and their relationship develops romantically. Mizushima Satoru decides to propose her, but, on the day he is going to propose her, Miharu Miyuki doesn’t show up at the cafe.

In his 40s, the stuntman Woo-seok wishes to go back to the prime of his life in 1997, before a facial scar ended his acting dreams. One day, he purchases five talismans from an unknown monk, hoping to change his life. However, during a film shoot, a car accident transports him back to his high school days in 1997. Now living as the high school student, he embarks on a project to revamp his past life, which was filled with a troublesome father, son, and husband.

Mysterious intern neurosurgeon Dr. Kang saves three young patients, even though the surgeries should not have saved the patients. Chief physician Dr. Lee becomes skeptical of the results, so he sends videotapes of the surgery to America for analysis.

Dr. Lee's niece, who is an anesthesiologist, Dr. Pyo Ji Soo has strong feelings for Ji Min but keeps it to herself.

One day, Oh Sae Yun suffers from a brain tumour and is admitted to the hospital. Sae Yun becomes involved in a hostage situation in the hospital, in which Dr. Ji Min saves her. Since that time, Sae Yun becomes interested in Dr. Kang.

Sae Yun follows Dr. Kang, who leaves the hospital late at night, and discovers Dr. Kang's secret. Sae Yun, on the condition of keeping quiet about Dr. Kang's secret, starts to date Dr. Kang. With the outcome of the tape analysis from America, Dr. Pyo discovers that Dr. Kang treats patients with his energy. The spirit of Dr. Kang's mother then askes Dr. Pyo to take care of her son.

Jong-Dae (Lee Min-Ho) and Yong-Ki (Kim Rae-Won) grew up in an orphanage like real brothers. After they leave the orphanage, they make a living by picking up paper and empty bottles. Jong-Dae then becomes involved in a struggle of interests over development in Gangnam, Seoul. In the process, he lives with Gil-Soo (Jung Jin-Young) and Sun-Hye (Seol Hyun) as they accept Jong-Dae like a family member. Jong-Dae also becomes a gang member.

Korean auteur director Hong Sang-soo creates a cryptic romance shot beautifully in Black & White. The story captures a love triangle-like relationship between a filmmaker, his enigmatic young female assistant, and his friend is told twice, with the second version retelling their affair in a different light. Soo-jung (Lee Eun-ju) is a Cable TV writer who is working with Young-soo (Mun Seong-kun), the producer of the same team. He goes with her to an art exhibition held by his former junior student, Jae-hoon (Jeong Bo-seok). Jae-hoon is fascinated by Soo-jung, and wants to date her. They hit it off, and begin dating. But when they're about to have sex, Soo-jung confesses she is still a virgin. Jae-hoon is turned off by that, and their relationship is ruined. Jae-hoon, who still loves her, decides to make a second attempt, when the two come across each other at a party. But will Soo-jung be so forgiving? The film captured several awards including Grand Bell's Best New Actress Award for Lee Eun-ju, who later would tragically commit suicide at a tender age of 24 while at the height of her blossoming career.

In the spring of 1989, Satria, director of a cable manufacturing factory, and his wife Suzzanna are eagerly expecting their first child. At his plant, Satria invokes the chagrin of two of his workers, Umar and Jonal, who have been demanding wage raises. When Satria leaves for a business trip to Japan, Umar and Jonal conspire with two other dissatisfied co-workers, Dudun and Gino, to raid Satria's house. Suzzanna, who was watching a film outside, returns amid their burglary, and when they make noise, she investigates. Fighting the burglars panickedly, she ends unmasking them, and in another attempt to fight back, she is accidentally impaled on a sharp bamboo pole. Believing her dead, the culprits begin burying her, but are shocked to discover that she is still alive. Unwilling to go to prison, they nevertheless continue filling her grave, burying her alive.

Suzzanna awakens inside her house and realizes that she to her shock has become a sundel bolong. When Satria returns shortly afterwards, Suzzanna, though torn by sadness, leaves him oblivious. However the house servants eventually discover her nature, and Suzzanna lets them flee the mansion. Seeking revenge, Suzzanna begins stalking her slayers one by one, starting with Dudun, whom she lures from his work dormitory into the factory to decapitate him. Umar, Jonal and Gino seek out the services of Gino's witch doctor uncle Mbah Turu, who declares that while it is taboo for a sundel bolong to directly kill someone, she can scare or trick them into making them kill themselves or each other. When Suzzanna haunts Jonal, he begins stabbing her, only to find that she has deceived him with an illusion into killing Gino. Umar, Jonal and Turu devises a plan to trap and exorcise her by destroying her home and killing her husband, since it is her love for him that keeps her spirit on Earth. After hearing village gossip about Suzzanna's hauntings, Satria is made fully aware of Suzzanna's condition when he reads from the Quran and she cries out in pain, as well as when he finds and unearths her body, but the same night Umar and Jonal lead a mob of villagers to the house, burning it.

Jonal and Turu incapacitate Suzzanna by driving a kris into her head, then lure Satria into Turu's abode for the final stage of the exorcism, claiming that Suzzanna has been possessed by a demon. However, when Jonal tries to kill him, Satria realizes that this is really his wife, murdered by these men, and releases her. While Jonal and Turu flee into the woods, Satria fights and kills Umar, but is stabbed in the back. Suzzanna chases down Turu, blinding him and causing him to impale his head on a pointed tree branch, and then kills Jonal by burying him alive. By personally slaying a human, Suzzanna's ties to the Earth are severed, and she dies in Satria's arms after they exchange sorrowful goodbyes. Soon, however, Satria discovers that his wound is fatal, and he dies as well, rejoining his wife in the afterlife.

A novelist (Kim Jung-Suk) has spent years searching for his missing wife. He wrote a novel about his experience. A woman (Soy), who read his novel, finds the novelist in an isolated area. She tells him she can help find her wife. The woman is also searching for someone. Rumors grow about the fate of the missing people.

Au Revoir Taipei is a fun, romantic comedy directed by Arvin Chen (陳駿霖). The story revolves around Kai and Susie. Kai spends long nights in a bookshop studying French in the hope of going to Paris to be with his girlfriend. Susie works in the bookshop and takes an interest in Hong. An ensemble of extra characters are also introduced at the start of the film including two police officers and a gang of four young men aspiring to be gangsters. Kai goes to Bao, a real estate agent who doubles as a gangster, to ask for his help in getting to Paris. Kai is asked to deliver a package in return for the favour which sets up a chase that unfolds over one night in Taipei.
