With a mother and father that are actors, and a rockstar brother, anyone would expect Sena Izumi to eventually enter showbiz himself. However, aside from a commercial for a wedding magazine when he was a child, Izumi has never been in the spotlight; instead, he aims to become a manga artist. But a decade after the shoot, the magazine calls for a 10th anniversary ad, requesting the original child actors for the project. This reunites Izumi with Ryouma Ichijou, now a popular actor who, much to Izumi's shock, has been in love with him ever since their first meeting! However, due to Izumi's feminine appearance, and unisex name, Ryouma believed the boy to be a girl and continues to do so to this day. Izumi's troubles are only just beginning. Based on the hit comedy romance manga Love Stage!! It began serialization in the July 2010. Seven tankōbon volumes was published from May 27, 2011 to November 1, 2016. An anime television series adaptation produced by J.C.Staff aired in 2014.

Emiko meets Yo in high school while they’re both members of the newspaper club. After Yo kisses her for the first time, they wind up having sex impulsively. From that moment on, whenever they’d see each other, Emiko would demand sex from Yo in spite of them not being involved in a romantic relationship. As time passes, Emiko begins working at a flower shop in Tokyo in order to be near the building where Yo lives while attending university. She continues having sex Yo, but begins to feel deeply hurt and rejected by him.

ZEGEN (The Pimp). “Of Imamura’s late films, Zegen is the most like his early masterworks: epic, energetic, sexually impudent, and grotesquely funny. A satire about colonialism, commerce, and carnality, Zegen is based on the true story of a hairdresser, Iheiji Muraoka (Ken Ogata), sent to Manchuria to spy on the Russian army. A born entrepreneur, Muraoka set up a chain of brothels throughout Asia —a kind of fornication franchise— and became ‘the big Boss of the South Seas.’ As Imamura portrays him, the ‘zegen’ is a decent but doltish and blindly patriotic businessman who views his development of a prostitution empire throughout Southeast Asia as the vanguard of Japan’s military adventurism: ‘For the sake of a great cause, I procure women.’”Imamura's rambling epic is filmed entirely outside Japan in early 1900's South East Asia. It satirizes Japanese imperialism with considerable bite, but is also very entertaining in its characters and story. Based on the autobiography of a Japanese business man named Muraoka, if follows the main character from when he jumps ship swimming ashore in Hong Kong harbour, to Manchuria where he works as a Japanese spy using prostitutes to gain information from the Russians, to Malaysia where he sets up brothels of Japanese prostitutes in a effort to further Japanese colonization in the area. Ken Ogata plays the lead, giving a nuanced performance of the man who runs brothels as part of his noble service to the Emperor. There is also a compelling love story, some very humourous satirical lines and plenty of half clothed women. What more could you want?Note: The title 'oyabun' is used for Muraoka often in the film. It means Boss, or Big Boss or Godfather... I think you get the picture. Trivia: Director Takashi Miike was given his first film credit, as assistant director on Zegen. He was a student at the Japan Institute of the Moving Image at the time. The Institute was founded by Imamura.

Strange cases of resurrections start occurring in a small isolated village, people being dead for days or decades, suddenly coming back to their families. The Ministry of Health decides to send a team to investigate the case, among whom is Heita, who was born in the region. He meets with Aoi, a childhood friend who was engaged to his best friend before this one died. Heita tries to understand what's happening in the village while Aoi hopes that her fiancée will also return.

Ten Months portrays the experience of Mi Rae, a twenty-nine-year-old video game developer, from the moment she becomes pregnant to her childbirth. The whole world is cheating on me,” said Mi Rae, who is going to get married her boyfriend Yun Ho through force of circumstance, is cut off from work and fails to get a job again.
