The story follows a young man who has been single for a year after his boyfriend suddenly disappeared without a formal breakup. One night, while scrolling through a dating app, he encounters someone who looks strikingly similar to his ex. After a spontaneous hookup, he discovers that this new acquaintance is actually his ex’s twin brother. Yoo-Jin becomes a temporary teacher for 3 months at a school for troubled students. Her students include Jung-Hoon who was kicked out from the soccer team due to a violent incident and Sung-Ah who lives with her mother from Yanbian, China. Yoo-Jin gets these troubled students to take part in a musical for a talent show hosted by the district office.

In this 1937 short, The Three Stooges are tailors who are massively in debt, and try to solve their financial woes by capturing a fugitive bank robber for a large reward.

 A group of students attempt to make a phoney 'snuff' film after a night of drinking and one of them is killed. The dispose of the body without anyone learning of the incident. A year later finds the same guilt ridden students haunted by a ghastly figure and dying gruesomely one at a time.

Jin Ah is the former leader of idol group Purple, one of the first generation of girl groups in South Korea and also the most popular at that time. She now hosts the radio program "Wonderful Radio," but the program suffers from low ratings. The show's producer then takes time off to give birth. Her replacement is Lee Jae Hyeok. Jin Ah is late for her first meeting with PD Lee Jae Hyeok. Because of this, PD Lee Jae Hyeok gets an unfavorable impression of Jin Ah and their relationship soon turns worse. During the meeting, PD Lee Jae Hyeok instructs the staff to create a new section for the radio program to increase ratings.

Kusakabe Eiji was part of the Criminal Division but was forced to move to another department after getting injured in an incident. He was told to move to the Life Safety Division's General Affairs Section 2, often called as the "Hikikomori Section". The department consists of officers who are "socially withdrawn" and is tasked support the other police departments whenever there is a labor shortage.

One day, a lady visits the department and asks for help to find her missing fiancé. At the same time, a strangled body was found which belonged to Yamagishi Ryohei, the representative of a major IT company. While pursuing the case with Takase from the Criminal Division, it was found that Yamagishi was the missing fiancé and he had committed multiple marriage scams. The case gets complicated as it gets deeper. Can the Hikikomori Section find the truth without taking a step out of their room?

It turns into a torrid affair, and Hak-kyu throws all caution aside, but when he commits an act that she takes as the worst form of betrayal, her feelings turn. Scarlet Innocence is a contemporary retelling of a classic Korean tale, The Story of Simcheong, which was elevated to timeless art when adapted to the Korean musical storytelling form pansori. But Yim takes radical liberties with the story, changing what was always a father-daughter dynamic into an account of two strangers who first become lovers, then adversaries. Drenched in sex and desperate acts - Jung has scenes here that will shock and excite his fans - this is a twenty-first-century film noir very much in keeping with Yim's abiding interests. From his first feature Antarctic Journal through Hansel and Gretel and Doomsday Book, Yim has always set his characters free to pursue their obsessions no matter how far it takes them. To watch Jung and Lee turn up the heat as this story progresses is to see just how dangerous a director Yim can be. ~ tiff
