After suffering from serial paranormal events, a wealthy family living in LA summons a young rising shaman duo Hwa Rim and Bong Gil to save the newborn of the family. Once they arrive, Hwa Rim senses a dark shadow of their ancestor has latched on the family in a so-called 'Grave Calling'.

In order to exhume the grave and relieve the ancestor, Hwa Rim seeks help from top-notch geomancer Sang Deok and mortician Yeong Geun. To their dismay, the four find the grave at a shady location in a remote village in Korea. Unaware of the consequences, the exhumation is carried out, unleashing a malevolent force buried underneath.

A Very Special Love is about two young people with totally different backgrounds but they discover that love truly knows no barriers. Sarah plays Laida, the breadwinner of her family. John Lloyd is Miggy of the Montenegro clan, the owner of several businesses including a publishing firm that he manages. Laida is hired as an editorial assistant of one of the magazines named Bachelor, which Miggy publishes. The boss decides to make Laida his own personal assistant and even forces to pretend to be his girlfriend during an event. Pretty soon, Laida's dedication to her job and the special attention that she was receiving from the big boss caught the attention of the other employees. She became the butt of jokes and gossip started being spread about her in the office. To save face, Laida revealed a secret about Miggy, which, of course angered the male executive. When Miggy reacted to her embarrassing revelation, Laida defended herself by citing the faults that she saw in him: that he was a snob and a braggart. Upon realizing his mistakes, Miggy apologized to Laida and promised to change. They became good teammates and eventually, became a couple as well.

Taipei, the present day. Thunder Newspaper star reporter Lan Yi-ching (Puff Kuo) is hawled in for questioning by shadowy government official Captain Li Feng-hsin (Li Feng-hsin) and asked if she knows Yen Cheng-yu (Berlin Chen), a legendary super-hacker whom she's suspected of bribing to break into corporate computers for her news column. She denies it, and says she's already resigned from her job. She explains to Li how she was assigned by her impatient boss (Kao Wei-chi) to trawl Bulletin Board System, the country's most popular internet forum, for news stories but was locked out when it was discovered she was a journalist and not an ordinary user (a so-called Villager). Meanwhile, Cheng-yu had applied for a job as a programmer at Four Square, the world's biggest systems security maintenance company, but was turned down, to his annoyance, because of his reputation. There, he'd bumped into Four Square's systems security engineer Huang Kuan-chun (Shiou), who said they'd met previously. Yi-ching goes on to tell Captain Li that the recent BBS meltdown was centred on a student, Li Cheng-hsiang (Ivy Chen), who was hospitalised for an illness but was still managing to do her work as boardmaster of BBS' Dream Board, a forum on which users encouraged each other to fulfil their dreams. Cheng-hsiang came under attack from Villagers, led by the super-geeky Acid (Yga Tsai), for supposedly leaking a video and abusing her position. As the Villagers led an insurrection - which also targeted Beauty Board boardmaster, student Pai Wen-hui (Lin Wen-yi) - and threatened a "Purple-Hype" overload of the system, Cheng-yu, who was Cheng-hsiang's former boyfriend, tried to remedy the situation. In the process, he uncovers the true villain.

After school, Sena Kadowaki (Miori Ichikawa) goes up to the school rooftop to return a handkerchief to Yudachi Tsutsui (Ririka). While waiting for Yudachi , Sena falls asleep.
