In the early days of the Republic, legendary martial artist Ye Ruzhou suffers a severe injury, losing her memory and winding up in the impoverished alley of Minfu Lane. The lonely and silent rider Tae-suk breaks in empty houses and lives a normal life while the owners are traveling. He does not steal anything and moves from house to house without any loss other than food, and he cleans the houses, provides small repairs or washes some clothes to pay for the hospitality. When he enters in the house of Sun-hwa, he does not see the woman that is wounded in her room after being beaten up on by her abusive husband Min-gyu Lee. Tae-suk helps the hurt woman and when Min-gyu returns, he hits the husband with golf balls and Sun-hwa leaves her husband with Tae-suk on his motorcycle. When they break in the house of an old man, they find that the man is dead and Tae-suk provides funeral service for him. However, his son returns and Tae-suk and Sun-hwa are arrested by two abusive police detectives. He is sent to prison and Sun-hwa is forced to return home. But she never forgets him.

Meet the creative forces behind Studio Ghibli, the award-winning Japanese animation studio that is the focus of this absorbing documentary. Hayao Miyazaki, the director of such cinematic wonders as Princess Monokoke, Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle is the centre point. He’s working on his latest, and perhaps his last film, The Wind Rises. The studio where he storyboards the entire film, and his dedicated team painstakingly draw each frame by hand, is cluttered, homely and apparently lacking any new technologies. On the other side of Tokyo, his colleague Isao Takahata is working on his latest opus. Director Mami Sunada, winner of SFF’s 2012 Audience Award for Best Documentary with Death of a Japanese Salesman, has captured the timelessness of the process, the brilliance and skill, and Miyazaki’s perverse, playful humour. The film consists of five story units: "Concert on the Clouds", "The Enemy and Enmity of the Square", "Welcome to Jina Village", "Calm Down", and "Sunset Red Scout". It tells the struggle of ordinary characters in the new era to pursue a better life. The story shows the country’s development and progress, people’s livelihood changes, and the people’s sense of gain, happiness, and security.

Shintaro, now a Noble Dolly of the new club called Club Noble, decides to take over St. Brilliant Academy and battles against the prince group, who are led by Kanade Suzaku, over the title "Legend".

Three murder cases take place in Tokyo. Numbers are left at the murder scenes, possibly hinting at where the next murder will take place. An investigation begins of the serial killer and Detective Nitta Kosuke works on the case. He believes the next murder will take place at Hotel Koruteshia Tokyo. To catch the killer, Kosuke goes undercover and begins working at the front desk of the hotel.
