Pursued by loan sharks, Aoyama is rescued by a mysterious man in orange overalls, and spirited away to “The Town,” where other dropouts hide out from debtors, abusive partners or the police. It’s a perpetual holiday resort where every need is catered to but hidden in it is a sinister conspiracy.

Aoyama is harassed over debts. He arrives in a mysterious town. People can enter the town freely, but they can not leave. The town provides the basic necessities of life, including food, clothing, and a place to live. The people there can indulge in pleasures every day. By communicating with the people, Aoyama approaches the mystery of the town.

So-Ah works as a teacher at a local school. She was curious about Boo Young-Suk, a student with a sinister aura who is always present on the attendance list but no one calls him by name. The more she tries to get Boo Young-Suk back to school, strange things begin to happen at school.

Naomi works for a small publishing company, located outside of a city. One day, her parents suddenly die. Due to her uncle’s arrangement, she lives in a high-rise apartment building in the city. She is surrounded by people who are close to her, but she suffers from loneliness due to her parents’ deaths. Naomi happens to meet popular actor Morinori, who lives in the same apartment building. Four first-grade middle school students in the same class are members of a photography club. Before leaving for summer break, the teacher hands out an old-fashioned analogue camera to each of them and asks them to take pictures with them as a summer assignment. An injury causes Tadashi to quit playing soccer. Since that time, Tadashi often stays out all night without permission. One evening, Tadashi leaves home and does not return. Kazuto and Kiyomi become worried about their son and consider going to the police. News then reveals the murder of Tadashi's classmate. The police suspect that Tadashi might be involved in the murder.

There, he meets the young writer Anna, a rising star named Brownies, and their manager who is his fan. At first, Anna and Sun don't get along but later Anna realizes Sun has an interesting secret. She tries to investigate Sun for her writing. After many obstacles, Anna finds out everything about Sun and helps him to learn the advantage of his powers. Soon, they start to have feelings for each other.

One day, Agetaro Katsumata delivers tonkatsu to the staff at a nightclub. There, he becomes fascinated with DJing. He sees a lot of similarity between tonkatsu and DJing. A couple of months have passed since the serial murder case. A new dead body is found in the same area. Detective Manabu Kagaya tries to find the truth. He goes to see serial killer Yoshiharu Urano in prison.
