Yano Katsuhiko, a weather forecaster who is divorced and is introduced by his friend, Taguchi to popular radio DJ Yukawa Sachi aka "Love Specialist". Yano recalled seeing pictures of her before but the person he actually saw is Sachi's friend, Yujin.

Huang Cai Wei was engaged to Bai Qian Feng when he went missing on a business trip and presumed dead. She was then forced to marry his brother Bai Qian Sheng. His obvious favoritism of her incited jealousy in his other wives, especially his primary wife Ma Fu Fang. Huang managed to outmaneuver many of the women's ploy using her wits. But when her fiance returned home alive, she was placed in precarious situation where she couldn't free herself from.

Kim Sa Ra was the daughter-in-law of the biggest law firm in South Korea, but she was betrayed by her husband and lost everything. After that, she began working as a divorce troubleshooter. She is now the team leader at the divorce settlement office Solution. She punishes bad spouses and provides help for those who find themselves in unfair divorce situations.

She works with Dong Ki Joon. He is Sa Ra’s business partner and an advisory lawyer at Solution. Before coming to Solution, he was an excellent prosecutor who had the nickname of "German Shepherd." He picked up the nickname because of his persistence and keen intuition, but Ki Joon left the prosecutors' office for an unknown reason. Sa Ra and Ki Joon work together for people who are suffering through difficult divorces.

The winter for third-year university students is the crossroads in their lives. The season where they are confronted with life choices. It is a season that students cannot disregard. There are those who are about to become adults without making any of their own decisions as well as those who have made up their minds. 21-year-old Matsuoka Aoi (Arimura Kasumi) dislikes making trouble for the people around her. Although she likes the sea, she has given up on her dream of oceanographic research and is about to obey her parents (Sakai Maki, Yajima Kenichi) and get a job with their connections. At that moment, she unexpectedly meets students of Kaiyo University and they have to work together for a time at an aquarium near the sea. The sight of them pursuing their own dreams starts to influence Aoi little by little and their own lives also start to change too. Nagata Taku (Yamazaki Kento), Aoi’s childhood friend who has been wholeheartedly in love with her; Yamauchi Kota (Kubota Masataka), the senior whom Aoi admires; the proud Saeki Yuka (Narumi Riko) who is Kota’s ex-girlfriend; Serizawa Ryo (Asaka Kodai) who has something like love for Yuka; Niwa Reiko (Seino Nana) who cannot break off her affair with a married university old boy, Ichinose Hisashi (Ozawa Kazuhiro); Iino Sosuke (Yamoto Yuma) who has given up on his dream because of his parents’ debts. This is in the hope that Heng-Lit may lead Mongol rebel warriors into a civil war to overthrow the Ming Dynasty, whereby realizing the Mongol dream. However, Heng-Lit has his own dream of an Equal world, whereby Mongol and the Han-Chinese live together in harmony...

25-year-old Arimura Akari graduated from the local nursing school in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture and works for the hospital's geriatric ward. When she became a nurse, she wanted to be of help to others and appreciated by those people she helped. But in the course of slaving away for a meagre salary over the past four years, Akari would rather quit and get married quickly. Then she gets the chance for a fresh start with a makeover as a well-off young lady. She slips into the very exclusive Toh Hospital which draws a stream of politicians, entertainers and intellectuals despite the expensive medical care. However, it is a hospital with novice doctors, adulterous nurses and spoiled patients. Among them is the head nurse, who is called the overall director of the "White Inner Palace", is tough on Akari and many difficulties are in store for her every day. Moreover, the policy to keep things that happen in the hospital under wraps is certainly like the inner palace.

Takei Chiyo was born to a poor family in Osaka Prefecture’s Minamikawachi district at the of the Meiji era. Her mother passed away when she was still a child, and she lived with her father Teruo and younger brother. Although Chiyo could not be put through elementary school, she has the gift of the gab and quick wit. At the age of 9, she starts working as a servant in Dotonbori and comes across the theatre world which immediately captivates her. Chiyo’s desire to become an actress grows stronger by the day. She eventually runs away and heads to Kyoto where she throws herself into acting.

Dr. Kaede Kojima (Matsushima Nanako) is now the staff leader at Minato University Hospital's Emergency and Critical Care Center. It's been a month since she took that position. She's calm and precise in her role as staff leader, but she doesn't let others get close to her. The relationship between staff members is awkward because of this. Others can't figure out why Hospital Director Tooru Mogami (Danta Yasunori) put Kaede Kojima in her position. One day, a patient's family asks the hospital to stop a donor transplant. Hospital Director Tooru Mogami calls Dr. Kaede Kojima in for a meeting. When Kaede Kojima gets there, Tooru Mogami and Yasuhiro Sugiyoshi (Tezuka Toru) wait for her. Yasuhiro Sugiyoshi complains about the cancellation of the donor transplant and blames staff members for not persuading the patients' family enough. Tooru Mogami then reveals that he invited donor transplant specialist Dr. Mamoru Natsume (Tokito Saburo). Around this time, tragedy strikes with multiple stabbings and an explosion. The Emergency and Criticial Care Center is inundated with injured victims. Chaos ensues as the staff fails to work together and the doctors do not cooperate or communicate with each other.

Hikari (Kyoko Fukada) has to take care of her sick mother and two younger brothers. They are informed that their missing father has died, and later find out he left them a huge 10 million yen debt. They are a very poor family. They have no money or food. To pay off the debt, Hikari lands a cleaning job at the UBS TV company. On the other side, there's Masako Nagai (Matsushita Yuki), a struggling UBS TV drama producer. The men she works with are somewhat sexist. Through an incident within UBS, Masako discovers Hikari's talents as a creative person with a great imagination for drama writing. With no allies within UBS, she decides to hire Hikari, training her to be an assistant producer. Hikari's happiness is keeping her family fed and paying off her father's debt. Masako's happiness is to gain respect within UBS by excelling as a drama producer.

Doo Na, a member of the girl group Dream Sweet, suddenly left the group one day and end up living in the same share house as Won Jun, a college student. Doo Na mistake him for being her sasaeng fan, and Won Jun does not know who she is. They become curious about each other.
