An original medical murder mystery surrounds an unknown killer coccus (bacteria), that leaves no trace in the victim's body, which enables it to be used as the perfect weapon to kill. Fujimaki Tatsuomi is a pathologist working at the Pathlogy department at Meikyo Medical University Hospital. He's looked down upon by the other staff around him, and his relationship with Maho his wife, a former nurse, has cooled down.

After a patient's suspicious death, he makes a new discovery; when the deadly bacteria "Gift" invades the body, the patient soon dies, but the "Gift" leaves no trace thereafter, enabling it to be used as the perfect weapon to kill. As a result of this discovery, Fujimaki's life dramatically changes. While searching for a way to treat his ailing wife's heart disease, he becomes embroiled in a conspiracy surrounding the killer bacteria "Gift."

There, she meets university student Rihito Kase and housewife Yukie Kitagawa. Yaeko Kogure becomes attracted to Rihito Kase.

A mysterious rumor about the cafe has been spread that if a customer takes a specific seat at the cafe, that customer can travel back to a time of their choice. The specific rules for going into the past are: 1) You can't meet people who haven't visited the cafe 2) If you do something different in the past, it won't change the present. 3) Only one seat in the cafe is able to take someone into the past and if the seat is occupied, you have to wait until the customer leaves. 4) When you go back into the past, you stay in the seat 5) The time you can stay in the past is until the moment the coffee gets cold. 4 miracles take place at the cafe.

Transportation and telecommunications are disrupted due to the earthquake. At the hotel, the manager Haseda Takeshi (Ihara Tsuyoshi) issues instructions to staff to take care of guest needs as much as possible. Sae and fellow dancers, Takezawa Kasumi (Haru) and Shimano Hikari (Sasamoto Rena), wait for their families to contact them. She focuses on her family and Choco. Meanwhile, taking Hikari’s suggestion, they pay visits to evacuation centres as well as start the Hula Girls National Kizuna Caravan to hold free performances nationwide to cheer up and bring smiles throughout Japan with the hula dance. The hula girls including Sae transform their sorrow and pain into smiles for the sake of Fukushima’s rehabilitation and Spa Resort Hawaiians’ reopening. Like the hula girls 46 years ago, they head to various parts of the country. However, adversity beyond their imagination awaits them.

He goes back to work. A new murder case takes place. When Ango goes to the crime scene he notices a boy who looks like he is about to cry, but only Ango is able to see the boy. The boy is the one who was killed. Since Ango was shot, he can now see and talk with the dead.

Teacher Akira Kamiyama tried to stop a bullying case and the bullying became his own trauma. Since then, Akira has decided to not get involved if its not absolutely necessary. He then begins teaching at a middle school and moves into a new apartment. Akira then discovers that his apartment also houses a ghost named Akane, who was a teacher before she died. Akira Kamiyama and Akane then solve problems which the middle school students have.
