The 'Universe League', which will create a boy group, will be held in a completely different format from Season 1. It is a league-style audition where the final winning team that wins the Prism Cup debuts. Three representative K-pop artists will become the managers of each club. They select team members through a trainee draft and compete against each other. During the summer in the present day, Jeon Youn Ha runs a vacation cottage located deep in the woods. His peaceful life is shaken by the sudden appearance of a mysterious woman named Yoo Sung A.

In the early 2000's, Koo Sang Joon ran the same vocation cottage as Jeon Young Ha did years later. Koo Sang Joon and his family also lived there, but, during the summer, something happened at his vacation cottage and Koo Sang Joon lost everything because of that. At that time, Yoon Bo Min worked as a police officer at the nearest police substation from the vacation cottage. 20 years later, Yoon Bo Min is transferred to the same police substation where she worked before and she begins to work there as the chief. She enjoys solving things and begins to observe Jeon Young Ha closely.

The 65 episodes long series was divided into four parts: The Legend of Mo-fa (無花傳奇), The Great Desert (大沙漠), Legend of the Divine Palace (神宮傳奇) and The Final Battle (最後一戰).

Detective Mok (Dayo Wong) is a very smart detective with a high IQ, but he has asthma and sometimes appears slow and weak. When solving one of his cases, Mok meets insurance agent Wai (Ada Choi). She mistakes him for a pervert who has been photographing women in public toilets, leading to some hilarious misunderstandings. Soon after that case is solved, Wai is accused of shoplifting and then becomes the prime suspect in the murder of her boss. Mok proves her innocence in both cases, but at first she still can't stand him. Later they become friends, but there is still conflict between them because Mok is always broke, so when they go out Wai has to pay. Wai's job is not easy and Romeo (Marco Ngai), the leader of a rival insurance team, makes it a lot harder. Romeo leads the men's team and Wai leads the women's team, and the competition between the men and women never ends. There is constant gossip in the office, which is often overheard by the person being gossiped about. Wai and Mok meet Jim (Michael Tong), a fitness trainer, who is involved in several cases. Jim falls in love with Wai, but Wai likes Mok instead. There are a lot of funny scenes and the cases are always different.

As a fusion drama on the life of politician Kim Doo Han, the drama tells the life of Kim Doo Han with fact and fiction. Kim Doon Han is the son of the great general Kim Jwah Jin, who fought for Korea against the Japanese during World War II. After his dad dies, Kim Doo Han trains in kung pao and learns to be a leader against the evil Japanese. He finds his own position as boss of the Jong Ro area in Seoul, and vows to protect his own Korean people. Goo Ma Juk, the boss of Seoul, fights against Kim Doo Han in an attempt to hand over the whole Seoul area to the Japanese redevelopment project, pursued by Hyashi. Hyashi himself is a Korean but he ironically lives as a Japanese fighting his own people. Through these many barriers, Kim Doo Han struggles to keep the Korean culture alive, later on becoming a politician after the Korean War.

Kaneko Misuzu Monogatari (TBS Drama Special, 09 July 2012) tells about the brief life of poet and songwriter Kaneko Misuzu (real name, Kaneko Teru). The story starts in the spring of 1920, Kaneko Teru (Ueto Aya) has just graduated from high school. She is young and vibrant and has dreams of becoming a poet. Her cousin, Masasuke (Imai Tsubasa) is very fond of her, and yearns to tell her of his feelings. However, he does not know the awful truth about his adoption, and that he is actually the younger brother of Teru. Feeling that Masasuke and Teru are getting too close for comfort, Masasuke's adoptive father tries to separate the two. This series is different from the past detective stories. The Lieutenant is collection of true mystery stories in which the detective, Ninzaburo Furuhata, must solve ingenious crimes and outwit elusive criminals. Although Ninzaburo Furuhata is a government officer, he does not wear a tie. Although he specializes in murder cases, he does not carry a gun. He does not use violence. More than anything, Ninzaburo Furuhata conducts himself as a gentleman, and uncovers the tricks which outwitting genius criminals play by cool reasoning and smooth talking. In every episode, Ninzaburo Furuhata will introduce a different criminal in his memory, and share his experience tracking and interacting with these criminals.

Yoo Joo was born and lived in Gwangju for 30 years. Her original dream was to be a food photographer, and now she works as a photographer and marketing agent for an advertising company. As she entered her third year, her personality has changed a lot. In the past, she used to be arrogant and stubborn, but now she doesn't even put her mouth on, and only chooses good words to listen to clients.
