Executioner Yip Sheung-luk has shed blood too many times to count. Set in the early-mid nineteen hundreds, Yim Ga Po is a small village in China, ruled by the Yim clan (mainly Yim Man Hei). Duen Hoi, in his guilt, confesses under pressure to his master and took in Koo Fung's infant son, Koo Yuk Lau (Francis Ng), to raise as his own. Duen Fei (Stephen Chow), his real son, grows up to be a business-wise person but has no interests whatsoever in learning martial arts. He gets into a lot of trouble hanging around in the streets and is admonished by his father all the time. Koo Yuk Lau, on the other hand, is like a male prodigy--great wit, great martial arts, and leadership potential all in a package. Trouble begins to stir of course when he finds out who his real father is and when Koo Yim Yeung returns to cause more ruckus

Yau Nim Chi is the matriarch of the new rich Kam House and a single mother of the 24-year-old Kam triplets. Upon hearing her name, Nim Chi takes the princess home, mistaking her to be the daughter of the Kam family's savior, who died to save Nin. Seeing that the Kam household is a good place for shelter, she and Siu Yuen decide to stay in the Kam household until it's safe for them to leave, simultaneously completing a chain of community labor in Nin's office as a punishment for destroying government property.
