A dZi bead from Tibet was on its way to Hong Kong for an exhibition, but was stolen by a mysterious gang with a possible link to a long-lost cult, the Gemini Clan. The guardian of the dZi bead Lucky and his adopted son Hey tried to solicit the help of the head of the Clan, the Principal, to track down the bead. Unwilling to come out of retirement, the Principal refused to get involved, but when Lucky was seriously wounded after another attack by the mysterious gang, the Principal reluctantly summoned the help of the Clan's former members - twins.

Chow Yun-fat is back as the titular gambler, Ken, with the magic hand. This time, the movie exaggerates his skills with CGI poker cards until it almost becomes a fantasy. But that's to be expected in a Wong Jing's movie. This time, the location is shifted to Thailand where Mark (Nick Cheung), an accountant in a money-laundering syndicate, DOA, is chased by Interpol and DOA. Ken has to save him and help his protégé, Vincent (Shawn Yue). Wong Jing tries to pack in everything that is entertaining into a 2 hours movie. Though it feels bloated, expect a lot of crazy and random fun. Don't expect a coherent story and character development and it will be an enjoyable entertainment. Action is ramped out. The action scene in the middle sees a break-in of the safe house with lots of explosion and gunfire. The movie's climax turns into a CGI set where a fight breaks out in an airplane. Music is serviceable. Direction and acting is fine too.

"Lucky Star 2015" is a Chinese New Year comedy film starring an ensemble cast featuring Eric Tsang, Wong Cho-lam, Ella Chen from S.H.E, Dada Chan, King Tan Yuen and Yuen Qiu. The film is about a Wong Cho-lam look-alike who is invited to perform at a birthday party of a local tycoon. He brings along a group of look-alike artistes for his show. However, the local tycoon sees through his trick. The comedy film also features cameo appearances from Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse, Chow Yun Fat, Julian Cheung and many more.

On Christmas eve in 1987, he finally gathers the courage to hand her a slip of paper with his contact details written on it. Observing the bewildered expression on her face, he half gives up and boards the train to go home. However, she is visible from the train window. He sees her standing at the platform looking and smiling at the paper he had passed to her earlier. Love soon blossoms and they get married and have children. They overcome differences and as they near the end of their lives, he makes his wife a last present.
