It all started with football. Deok-hoon falls in love with In-ah who shares his love and passion for the sports. They quickly become lovers and he proposes. She refuses at first but they are eventually happily married. Marriage is like a dream until one day In-ah declares her wish to marry another man. She doesn't want divorce as she loves Deok-hoon all the same, only change is that she loves the new man as much. Leaving Deok-hoon who finds himself unable to leave In-ah in the middle, she goes ahead and marries her new man. And so the bizarre bigamy begins.

Taekwondo medalist, Master Moon (Jo Jae-Hyeon) has a family filled with talented individuals. His wife Yoon is a master in the kitchen. They are a happy family. Master Moon runs a taekwondo studio in Bangkok. One day, the family happens to bump into the group Suk-Doo - who stole a legendary Thai sword and are on the run. Master Moon's family are able to capture the group. The family then becomes national heroes in Thailand. Trouble soon brews for the family when the Suk-Doo group kidnaps their youngest child Tae-Poong...

Under the colonial rule of Japan, 400 or so Koreans who are conscripted into slave labor on 'The Battleship Island', attempt to escape for life. 1944, during the Japanese occupation of Korea, conscripted civilians head out to the Hashima island. Nicknamed 'The Battleship Island' after its resemblance to a war vessel, some are lured by false promises of high wages. LEE, a bandmaster of a jazz bigband and his only daughter, CHOI, a thug, and Mallyeon are among the workers. But upon arrival, they found that the island turns out to be an isolated hell where the workers are forced into slave labor. As the Pacific War nears its end, PARK, a Korean independence activist assigned on a mission to rescue a Korea's spiritual leader from the island. As the U.S. launches massive counterattack on Japan, the Japanese decided to blow up the island in order to bury the truth about their awful treatment of the Korean slave labors. PARK discovers the plan, and conspires with LEE and others for mass escape of all 400 Koreans.

On reuniting with Liu Chuan, the brothers approach her in their own ways, as they had 20 years ago.

Kenichi Nakamura (Masato Sakai) runs a small ironworks, but since he lost his wife (Maki Sakai) in a hit and run car accident 5 years ago his life has become mundane. Meanwhile, Kijima (Takayuki Yamada), who committed the hit and run accident, finishes his prison term and is released from prison. As time passes, a threatening letter arrives for Kijima. People around Kenichi try to stop him, but on the anniversary of his wife's death these two people meet to confront each other.

“Love Stories From Fukuoka” is a series of real-life stories submitted by viewers in Fukuoka about their personal experiences with love, loss and longing. All the stories are based in Fukuoka, the capital city of the Fukuoka Prefecture on Kyushu Island. The stories feature many actors, celebrities and athletes who have ties to Fukuoka, including a few members of the popular Japanese girl group AKB48.
