A story between a bright and sunny public relations officer who meets a ski instructor and the complications that arise in relation to finding long-lost family and revenge. Han Dong Shan is a new instructor at the resort. He is cold and hard to get close to as he never makes any mention of his past. Yet he finds himself opening up to Zhao Xiao Qing, a public relationship officer catering to VIP clients who also works at the resort. In 1949 the People's Liberation Army got to Xinjiang and established the Xinjiang Military Region where Gan Zuchang served as the Deputy Minister of Logistics. During this time, a war on prices erupted through monopolization of resources. Gan Zuchang did his best to combat this by influencing the market and eventually stabilizing the market. Gan Zuchang became a target and was the victim of a car accident where he suffered head injuries. He was awarded the rank of major general but decided to return to his hometown due to his injuries. There he saw his hometown in poverty and contributed to the economic recovery of his hometown.
