    Takeuchi Miharu (Maya Miki) is a capable lawyer with a law firm in Nagoya who gets to handle a divorce case assigned by their head Mizuno Toyohiko (Tachi Hiroshi). Gohara Naoki (Yoshizawa Hisashi), the president of the company, wants to divorce his wife Nobue (Kone Hana) who left their 5-year-old son behind and moved out. Nobue does not want to give up her child. The case seems to complicate Miharu because she had experienced divorce too and was deprived of custody of her daughter Kanae, who she has not seen in 10 years. She hesitantly starts working on the case but gradually gets absorbed in it.

    While she is the husband’s attorney, the solution she offers reflects Nobue’s feelings. This offends the client company and the law firm’s advisory contract is terminated. She resigned.

    Nobue arrives with the twin sisters. She believes they can count on Miharu who identified with her own divorce issues. Miharu does all in her power to try to pull the twins’ broken family together. She got convinced to start a divorce counselling centre. On the day of the opening of ‘Takeuchi Harumi Divorce Counselling Centre’, a young lady stares at the signboard of the centre with a surly expression. She is Miharu’s daughter, Kanae (Taketomi Seika), who is now an adult.

    Rehaam (Zara Noor Abbas and Aashir (Syed Jibran) studied together in college and have been good friends, soon they fall in love. Ashir’s mother has taken over his deceased father’s business and has been struggling to keep this business alive, in the midst of all this she sends Ashir abroad to save the ongoing contracts. Before Ashir leaves he wants both families to meet and finalize his proposal for Rehaam. But unfortunately, Reham’s taya springs up the subject of her marriage with his son and her father and taya end up in a big fight and Rehaam asks Ashir not to bring his family as her father is not well. Heartbroken but willing to help his mother Ashir leaves the country soon while Rehaam is venturing into home tuitions and end up hired as Adaan’s teacher who is Ashir’s younger brother. This fact remains hidden as she builds a rapport with both Adaan and Ashir’s mother. All this leads to Adaan having a crush on Rehaam which at first Rehaam didn't notice but as soon as she finds Adaan’s behavior unusual she discourages it and leaves this job. Rehaam will accept the proposal and right on her wedding day, Adaan does something that brings Rehaam’s life to a point of no return. Rehaam makes many sacrifices and suffers because of others' misdeeds. But will she finally achieve a happy life?

    Durr-e-Shehwar's (Samina Peerzada) daughter, Shandana (Nadia Jamil), and Durr-e-Shehwar's husband, Mansoor's (Qavi Khan) nephew, Haider (Noman Ejaz) have been married to each other for the last eight years. But recently there has been a breach in their relationship due to which Shandana decides to spend some time at her maternal home in Murree along with her young daughter, Sophia (Sophia Syed).

    Both Durr-e-Shehwar and Mansoor love Shandana and Sophia a lot. But Shandana envies her mother thinking that she led a comfortable and happy life with a loving husband and nothing to worry about. And thus, she often compares Haider with her father. Shandana also undergoes a stage of semi-depression and evens thinks of divorcing Haider. When Mansoor gets to know this, he gets angry with Haider. He reports this matter to his sister i.e. Haider's mother, thus, further complicating the matter.

    Unable to see Shandana in such a devastated condition, finally one day Durr-e-Shehwar narrates her own life story to Shandana and reveals that life for her wasn't as easy as Shandana thinks it to be. She tells her that when she had got married (Sanam Baloch as Young Dur-e-Shehwar) and moved to Mansoor's (Mikaal Zulfiqar as Young Mansoor) house, Mansoor's mother (Saba Faisal) was cold towards her and did not use to appreciate her for good qualities. Durr-e-Shehwar had to struggle a lot to gain her mother-in-law's acceptance and also the true love of Mansoor, who had earlier neglected her on the words of his mother. Hearing this story, Shandana realizes that her mother's life wasn't a bed of roses and being a housewife did not ensure happiness for Durr-e-Shehwar. This does blemish Shandana's respect for her father but it calms her down and gives her morale to start a new life with Haider.

    Detective Mok (Dayo Wong) is a very smart detective with a high IQ, but he has asthma and sometimes appears slow and weak. When solving one of his cases, Mok meets insurance agent Wai (Ada Choi). She mistakes him for a pervert who has been photographing women in public toilets, leading to some hilarious misunderstandings. Soon after that case is solved, Wai is accused of shoplifting and then becomes the prime suspect in the murder of her boss. Mok proves her innocence in both cases, but at first she still can't stand him. Later they become friends, but there is still conflict between them because Mok is always broke, so when they go out Wai has to pay. Wai's job is not easy and Romeo (Marco Ngai), the leader of a rival insurance team, makes it a lot harder. Romeo leads the men's team and Wai leads the women's team, and the competition between the men and women never ends. There is constant gossip in the office, which is often overheard by the person being gossiped about. Wai and Mok meet Jim (Michael Tong), a fitness trainer, who is involved in several cases. Jim falls in love with Wai, but Wai likes Mok instead. There are a lot of funny scenes and the cases are always different.
