Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary is a cynical, washed out Delhi cop who has nothing to look forward to in his less than ordinary career. But that is until the day a high profile case lands on his table, a case too big and important for his designation. The case turns into a dark mystery thriller that leads inspector to the dark realm of underworld (Paatal Lok). Hathi Ram’s instincts tells him to investigate into the lives of the suspects. He discovers startling truths and insights that eventually help him rediscover his responsibilities as a cop, his place in the larger scheme of things and the larger meaning of life itself.

Dino-kun (a green dinosaur puppet) wakes up and turns on Zyuranger on his TV in his cave. He wishes that the team would appear, but due to an accident the five Zyuranger become summoned into his cave. The Rangers discuss the Guardian Beasts, including the five they possess, Dragon Caesar and King Brachion, as well as short music videos to "Daizyujin no Uta" and "Dragon Caesar no Uta". Dino-Kun decides he wants to test out the power of the various Guardian Beasts, doing so with the main attacks of Dragon Caesar and Zyutei Daizyujin; he ultimately tries to do so with Ultimate Daizyunjin, but ends up shorting out his tracker due to the potential of the "God" being infinite. The Zyuranger are soon summoned to return to their battle with Bandora, using their Dino Bucklers to transform and leave Dino-Kun.

A couple enters a city ruled by cruel thugs but an unsettling affair reopens unexpected twists and creates new tensions for them. Will they stick together through it all?

Prince Sungwon (Kim Dong-Wook) sees Hwa-Yeon (Jo Yeo-Jeong), the daughter of a wealthy nobleman, for the first time and falls in love, but Hwa-Yeon loves Kwon-Yoo (Kim Min-Jun). Kwon-Yoo saved her father's life and now lives with her family.

Meanwhile, Prince Sungwon's mother (Park Ji-Young) notices her son's infatuation with Hwa-Yeon, but she doesn't think Hwa-Yeon is good enough for her son. Prince Sungson's mother then schemes to have Hwa-Yeon become the concubine to her stepson the King (Jung Chan). Hwa-Yeon and her true love Kwon-Yoo run away when they learn of this plan, but are soon captured by her father's men. In order to save Kwon-Yoo's life, Hwa-Yeon agrees to become the King's Concubine.

Hwa-Yeon gives birth to a son a little bit less than a year later. She will then become a Queen. Several years later, the King becomes sick and dies suddenly. Prince Sungwon becomes the King, but his mother now wields true power. Hwa-Yeon then learns that the King's stepmother had the King killed to put Prince Sungwon on the throne. Hwa-Yeon also realizes that to survive in the royal palace and protect her own son, she will have to change.

King Sungwon is now agonized over his desires for his deceased brother's wife Hwa-Yeon and his mother's domineering ways. One day, Hwa-Yeon sees her true love Kwon-Yoo in the palace and he has now become an Eunuch.

In a small town in Japan, Kirie comes upon her boyfriend's father silently videotaping a snail. He seems unaware of her presence and she thinks no more of it. Later, the mans obsession with spirals becomes more and more bizarre, ending in his suicide in a washing machine which turn his body into a spiral. Soon other inhabitants become possesed with different forms of spirals, one student seems to be mutating into a snail, another's hair becomes strangely medusa-like. The entire town becomes possesed.

It's been 10 years since Mr. Park's gas station was attacked by motorcycle gangs. To get his revenge, Park hires a quartet of dodgy boys: a lethal puncher, a footballer with a killer high kick, a potbellied wrestler, and a video game addict who mastered the art of bluffing. Beijing, the present day. Three years after being hired as a shy university graduate by Alex (Alan Tam), editor-in-chief of leading fashion magazine Celebrity (名尚), Zhou Xiaohui (Vic Chou) has become associate editor, taken on the English name Patrick, and turned into an arrogant, pretentious young control freak. However, after a minor gaffe that threatens the company's future IPO, he's sacked by Alex. Proclaiming he'll set up a rival publication, Xiaohui is joined by only two of his staff, office dogsbodies Fatty (Tong Lei) and Yinghong (Vivian Hsu), an editorial assistant he'd recently promoted. He persuades college friend Wu Yang (Kimi Qiao), the son of a wealthy businessman, to come in as an investor and the four set up a modest backstreet office, hiring wedding photographer Wang (Wang Taili) and middle-aged traditional artist Zheng (Shu Yaoxuan), and calling their magazine Modern (摩登). The first issue flops, and Xiaohui is urged to try to be different rather than remain obsessed with taking on Alex and Celebrity. Inspired by Yinghong's appearance, Xiaohui has the idea of going for a more natural fashion look and pitches Qi Xi (Yu Nan), a legendary singer making a comeback concert, to be their next cover model. Qi Xi, who dislikes Celebrity, agrees. But at the last moment, she allows her manager to change her mind, with disastrous consequences for Xiaohui and his team.
